In mine, some of the rather sour CS staff double up on the direct desk, so I've never tried it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I'm more than happy to take on the job of a new combined (non-sticky) coupon/chat thread.
I just wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes though. Plus, I guess I don't post as regularly as most people here (but I tend to only post when I feel I've got something worth hearing).
But I do have the time to dedicate to keeping the first post updated, which I suppose is what we all want.
If a few people say yes to this then I'll go ahead and start a new thread and we'll see what happens with it.

Yes please Honey9036, we would so much appreciate it.
Let's not give up with the thread that we would find the most useful. Surely we can give it a try Mods - we promise not to bicker on it - please don't delete or move the posts from it, give it a chance please.
The more I think about it, the more I think my P.S. in my previous post has raised something that's been bugging us all. I think I am right in saying that the OP had about 5 posts on the Vouchers Board when he started that thread & asked for it to be made a sticky (then presumably asked for email updates...asked us to post on that thread if anything went out of date...which would generate an email...then didn't come on here...)?
Newbies are welcome of course which is why I didn't say anything at the time, I thought 'oh good that will be useful'.
But Browntoa - please listen to us - the sticky has been useful for ebay sellers of multiple printables only (many of which end up flogged to death on ebay and/or the date doctored! ).
The sticky has not proved particularly useful for the MSE coupon thread faithful. Sorry if I sound harsh but I am pretty fed up with ebay coupon sellers being able to 'play' MSE and it's being ignored!
Specifically, the first post isn't updated often enough, the OP does not come on here at all and we are made to feel unwelcome when we post anything and have to beg for relevant stuff not to be deleted.
There are more of us here who are saying we won't now be posting any new links on the sticky, than the couple of ebay sellers (you know who you are, one of you I know of for certain) who moaned about the chat spoiling their fun in the first place.
P.S. Princess Coupon I hope I didn't shoot you down in flames when you suggested a new combined thread. I think at the time some of us thought it wasn't needed if only the sticky was more up-to-date, but I have come to conclusion there's a hidden agenda there in the form of that sticky.:mad:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
