I can't find Paw Paws posts that told a 'select' group that she would pm them nor the later one where she advised that she is 'selective' about who she sends high value coupons to - I read them and the comments from other forum members but did not have time to post my thoughts on the matter but here goes now...

Don't worry about it at all, there were no coupons. T'was a bit of a wind up I think.

Don't always believe everything everyone posts on t'internet - BTW others here will know I am telling the truth that there were no high-value coupons, as they had pm's as well.

 I am slightly puzzled, can somebody please clarify? As a fairly new newbie I am still getting to grips with forums in general. When I leave the site I usually make a mental note of the last person to post together with the number. Quite often when I log on again and go to that number (so that I don't miss anything) it is a different post. Do earlier posts get deleted so that later ones move up, thereby changing the post number?

Not sure if this is the right thing to do, but i dont sign out and I get emails sent to my inbox when there is a new post. When you click on the link in the email it takes you to the latest post. Go to thread tools, subscribe etc to do this. Hope this helps

It's still a cliquey thing to do on an open forum though.

Occasionally people delete their post (for any number of reasons....out of date material, they re-read it when they were sober...) or a Moderator may delete something that was inflammatory.
In these cases the post number is deleted with the post and the later posts all move up one.... I hope that made sense, I know what I meant to say!! :D
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Another thing you can do is copy the following link into your bookmarks, and then go back a page to recap
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=14998203&goto=newpost

change the page number for each of the threads you like and then save them all in one tab, so you can open them all together.

    EBay auction

Whatever it was it has been removed itself now! Obviously EBay weren't getting any selling fees!

    Just an idea for consideration?

What if we simply don't post new internet links on the sticky thread (as it doesn't get updated often anyway and it's too easy for eBay grabbers to set up an email alert for each new post).
I know we've tried posting new links on here AND on there - but I mean why don't we agree to post them only on here, with NOTHING at all updating the sticky (not even an alert of an out of date coupon which the OP should be clearing up anyway, arguably)?

I think if a sticky isn't used then MSE mods will just delete it in the end and ultimately we will have achieved the non-sticky combined thread the majority asked for?

As this chat thread is pretty long, does anyone fancy being the OP of a new chat thread with all the links in the first post? It would need updating so the OP would need to be a regular poster with a bit of time to do so. If someone starts a new one please link it here.

P.S. Does anyone else think it slightly odd that the OP of the 'sticky-spoon-feed-the-ebay-coupon-sellers-thread' doesn't contribute on this chat thread at all?? And that when he/she set it up they were a newbie...I noticed that at the time...
