The above post is just about saving an image file instead of printing it directly to the printer. Each user would have a different coupon, however it would be the same ID for each coupon per user. It would be the same as clicking the unsuccessful print button on couponnet and printing a duplicate for those coupons that let you print twice.

I agree that tescos may stop taking the coupons if they are not getting their money back. The instructions posted are really a generic way to print any file as an image, and I would be happy to remove my post if you think that would be best.
  • I have found a way to print unlimited amounts of coupons and to save them as image files. I will not be releasing the solution until later this week when I have taken advice on whether this is illegal or not.

They would have the same ID number so it would be the same as colour photocopying which maybe tempting but not worth it you could lead to a change in policy for your store or maybe being banned from your store, even when you click no and get a second copy it has a different ID number

Bought a bottle of wine last night reduced from £5.50 to £3.79. Nothing else.
I went on the self service aisle and scanned 2 coupons to the value of £1.50 (Mitchum Deodorant and some dog food). The Approve Coupon screen came on, the YOUNG self service supervisor came along, approved them so I carried on, cat food (MSE), tooth brushes, tooth paste coupons (couponnet), etc. and it only asked for approval one more time. Paid 19p on my Tesco Credit Card, 2 green points plus 3 for the shopping = 20p in deals. Tesco paid me 1p for a nice bottle of wine - result!
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Boots today refused to accept Mitchum coupons.

My local Tesco say only one coupon per shop. But i have yet to try them, its just what their staff have just been told.

What a crazy mess these so-called big stores are in with coupon policy.
I've just been into Boots in Sheffield - still had the deodorant with £1 off, picked up 4 at £1.65, the cashier took the 4 vouchers and scanned them in and said that's 60p please!

  • Just tried to go through connection to print off coupons (thread 159) kindly puton by honey but internet explorer says cant find connection ? any one else had this problem ? How else can I get these multipage coupons.

I am new to this and only tried the mitchum ones from the boots thread - used 8 in tesco but only 1 per 'shop' just put things of over £1 in and went back round to another till.
Told my dad who in his 70s who goes past Ts every day and seemed quite keen to try this for himself - i didnt realise you could put in different vouchers for a shop but didnt have to buy the item.
So if he puts through say £2 of goods he can give them vouchers for 1.75 and only pay 25p ?
he doesnt mind going every day for small shops like this and i would like to save him money but dont want to give him duff informayion.
Thanks for any help on info and getting the vouchers

Or do you really have to buy cat food for these type of vouchers ?

    dragonspike,

Will this not mean all your coupons will have the same id number on them. My local store is already having couponnet coupons sent back from the clearing house unpaid as they have been duplicated.

The upshot of this is that Tesco could stop taking couponnet coupons altogether if they are not getting their money back.

The only real 'Honest' use of this facility would be to edit the coupons and remove the 'banners' so that you could get several coupons on the same page like couponet used to do. Other than that it is a no no cos as already stated the coupons would all have the same serial number, if you say it didn't print it issues a new serial number so it is unique in that respect so that is a 'fair' fiddle. Every 'virtual' printer that I have tried has not worked as the software always says that the printer is unsupported.....maybe I've been over thinking it but I gave up and just accept the waste of paper......Do others reuse their paper and print two back to back (And upside down IYSWIM) and are T's funny with them? I always only put one per piece of paper but I would like to half the wastage if possible!
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

It should at Tesco take what ever half the price is off. I just used the voucher at Tesco without buying the product and it I think took off 62p.I say think because i used 8 tokens and cannot remember which one was the whiskers when looking at the receipt

Thanks I didn't know that. Do you know how many they are programmed to take? I think I have only used three before at any one time. The downside I find with using the self scans is that it takes forever as when i drop the coupon in the box it never seems to drop to the bottom and I have to spend two minutes poking each one with my visa card to make it hit the bottom. I must look like a right nutter!

Tesco Bridlington self-service is set to just 2 coupons. Then a member of staff shoots over and treats you like a theif.
