I handed a black and white printed Mitchum coupon over and the cashier held it in the air to show fellow cashier shouting "does this look dodgy to you?".
It's that kind of ignorance that angers me, when they acuse you OR insinuate something dodgey. I have sent a strongly worded email to Tesco, after i was treated in a similar way last week. In my case, i was not given a chance to talk to the manager.
In some stores, i am asked where i got them. When i say the internet, they start laughing, saying "you can't just print your own coupons".
Someone was accused of fraud last week, in front of a dozen's of customers, just for using the mitchum voucher. I have told her to seek legal advice, as she was really upset and embarrased. It was her first time using a coupon, and has put her off for life.0 -

basically double the difference means if Tesco overcharged you they have to give you double the amount back.
The poster with the scales.
Shelf edge ticket said £10.00, but when through till came up at £40.00, so overcharged £30.00, then as its Tescos falut they refund the difference of £30.00 but double it, so the poster got £60.00 back per set of scales.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

What time/cost for the advice ? Sounds a bit over the top0 -
Just thought you MSE'rs might like to know that I'm using my Hewlett Packard printer with Microsoft 2007 One Note, which converts most coupons to a word document, which gives you unlimited prints.
Handy!
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0 -

Not if they they go though small claims, after a FREE initial consultation.
I would certainly start the ball rolling by contacting the company.
Over the top - being accused of being a fraudster in front of onlookers, some who might know you, just for using a coupon? Now THAT was over the top.0 -

Presumably for coupon-net type coupons (if it allows it) this is going to give the identical ID number on each coupon, as opposed to different ID's even on the "failed to print" re-print.
Would this not result in exactly the same as scanning and copying a coupon?,basically home-photocopying, any all-in-one printer could do this.
It might work in the short term but places like Tesco will then tighten up even more (at the manager's discretion!) and insist that you actually (forbid the thought
) have to BUY the product.
Nice idea for other non-ID'd coupons tho' Happyjaw, (is that what you meant by "most"?). Thanks for sharing!
Anyone else got thoughts/practise on this?
If it sounds like I'm having a go/ being negative it isn't intentional, just trying to learn!! It's difficult to question, in a forum box, without some-one perhaps taking it wrongly, without putting in too many emoticons.LOL:rotfl:
Oh and if this automatically goes into the"NO-CHAT" thread please accept my newbee apologies....and just move it.....rather than getting upset....a PM to me explaining how to shift it to the other thread will ensure compliance in the future! Thank YouIt's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0
