AND find a pattern for some draught excluders... I kniw they are just a sausage BUT I want something specific!.... hhhmmmmm I wonder if cuboid ones would work?
Hi PigPen, hope you've managed to clear up the sick in the garden now (still catchng up on posts from Thursday...) I hate cleaning that up too - makes me heave - and am afraid I would have just got the hose out and some bleach...
Anyway, found this link, hope it helps you... maybe you could make it into a dog instead of a reindeer... http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/ideas_library/idea_87.htmlLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Polkadot You Won your laptop – way to go! How, please?
And brill on the cupboard clearing! Very green re-use of the buggy bag - vacuum cleaners can be so fiddly to store - methinks they need lady designers - ie user input!
Lil Me – welcome back - GL with the laundry
Jo 1972 – but at least you now know what you DON’t want, sofawise
Phew Michelle – that’s some list for this morning! But at least some of the tasks don’t look too time consuming! Good luck with it all! You took me back there with the ‘love bite’. DS took to BF like a duck to water and fed vigorously! Early on he cracked my nipple ***wincing at the memory*** and got a milk & blood mix. Being a big, healthy babe he kept the milk down and delicately vomited blood clots! Unlike DD who spilt milk if tilted!
Hi Rach – good luck with your list – I missed Little Miss Naughty! How did you get on with your pot plants?
Enjoy your party Mrs. V
Sexymouse – next door to MIL? Are you mad? More importantly – what’s she like?
Serena – I always feel ‘not grown up’ then I look in the mirror :rotfl: – I just DO NOT FEEL my age
exH will be here shortly – his ‘new’ GF is a GRANNY – so that info has been shared with all and sundry by one gleeful Valli – when the other mums at dancing class saw her there was a stampede in my direction to ask how old she was – well, now I have PROOF!
Polkadot – re the apples – I would cook and freeze in crumble/pie sized portions – dead easy to top with crumble mix whan you need an OS pudding on a wintry day!
Pigpen – bet NO-ONE else has seen that webby!
Well all is serene in Valli Towers. All rooms cleaned to level 3 this week, things flung, bins washed out, all ironing up to date and shortly to be put away, two loads on line. Duvet covers (mine and DD) washed , ironed and back on beds. Have also sewn ties and loops into mine because I was fed up of the duvet shrugging down the bed inside the cover - and it has worked! Oh - and kids gone! BLISS:A
and tonight I'm out at a barbie - next door hee hee:cool:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Point away, I'll shut my eyes.:p
And I'll write in ALL your dust!! lol...Can't you get diy sos in and sit back whilst they do it all?:D
IF ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. is that the one that had the rather nice male eye candy??Pigpen – bet NO-ONE else has seen that webby!

I'm in the midst of sorting out DS's bedroom - DS has been helping and has decided he doesn't want some of his stuff anymore - unlike DD who just hoards everything!
I have Go Diego Go stuff, Lunar Jim stuff and a toolbench. Is it worth trying to ebay bearing in mind it is very rare I ebay anything and I'm not very good at it? Or should I just freecycle it or send it to the charity shop?NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

I'm like you - get very disheartened with e bay. Maybe you could pass it onto Sexymouse for her carboot:rotfl: .
My criteria is to look at e bay for similar items and prices - then see if it's worth bothering with. If you are likely to get loads of stuff you could try booting yourself - but if the folks over there are anything like the folks over here they want to pay pennies! Other option - charity shop - gets it gone, fast!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all (it is still morning isn't it
)
I've just had to catch up with quite a few pages of this thread and had in my head what I wanted to say but forgotten the lot!
I was going to say thanks for the Sofa company name (I think to Serena?), I'm off to Gallows Corner in Romford either today or tomorrow to look in DFS, Furniture Village and Land of Leather...only prob is, that I want the thing delivered next week and these sort of places have an 8-12 week lead in  I saw one in Harvey's yesterday that wouldn't be with me till a few weeks before christmas  although it's haunting me as I fell in love with it and then opened the paper when I got home and they used that suite as their main advert, then they used it as their advert before corrie THEN an actual advert in the middle of corrie featured that suite - do you think someone's trying to tell me summat :rotfl: although doesn't solve my 'I need it next week' problem
Once again haven't done any flying today, although compared to my extreme downer mood last week I have achieved so much over the last week so I'm very happy. I have to pop out to do a mystery shop in a little while then maybe the sofa shop if I have time otherwise I'm back in this arvo to paint the bathroom and toilet, oh and I've got to go to B&Q to get some paint for the lounge which has to be completed before next week's out
Good luck to all that have huge lists to complete today, don't beat yourself up if it doesn't get done.....mine didn't yesterday and it's true, it was all still there for me to do when I got up this morning :rotfl:
