Right, just letting the breckie settle (DF cooked a huge one-seems he likes our "new house") and making sure DS knows where all the potties are (DF is adamant its nappy rash and wont believe me when I say I can tell from the scales that its Excema. So Ive whipped off the nappy and got a stash of old towels in the lounge-thankfully there are no carpets. So if we get a head start on PT then its all well and good:
Sexymouse Thanks for the link, will have a look later. I have BIGOVEN but I've not taken a look there yet-Im panick stricken about the bag as so far its only cut out and half overlocked. Its quite a tricky pattern and I havent sewn in about 10 years. Got my SM for my birthday in July.
Valli yup, I won my laptop last year December. Im not sure where I won it though-I was spending ALL my time on the internet when I first got here (parenting sites, municipal sites-anything I could find to help me find my way around life UK style). I remember getting into freebies on here first-looking for kiddies printables etc and Im sure I was just clicking away (I even got one of those calls from studio64). Then I got the call about the lappy saying Id won and they had only had the one up for grabs. I thought I was being conned and asked over and over when he was going to ask for my cc details. He never did and sometime between christmas and new year my lappy arrived-a dell latitude D830. DF was very jealous as he said the specs were so good they weren't even at that point with lappies at work:rotfl:My ex was chuffed coz he was staying with us (always does between chrimbo and NY), DH had built a lappy for me in SA so I could chat to him after he got bsck here and so we gave my old one to my ex.:T
Thanks for the note about my resourcing-Im having loads of fun, and DH is moaning I must be pregnant coz he's never seen me do so much and still have so much energy-I am feeling wonderful though:)
Serena I breathed a sigh of relief reading your post. I always feel like Im playing house coz I dont feel like I ever grew up-so nice to know Im not alone.
Pigpen That sounds like soooo much work:eek:

I've already done S&S in bathroom and bedroom is clear so its the HC and then Ill give myself a HHS (sewing challenge) I think thats the best way for me to actually do it. Oh and still not done the desk so have to in order to use SM:( .

But I wanted to ask-hope no one minds-whats all this about Face book? I found loads of flylady groups but they all seemed to be mostly american? And you all seem to know where each others houses are? I hate being the last to know, please let me in on the secret:whistle:

    https://www.facebook.com

It's a social networking site which quite a few of us are on and there's a group on there called Ol' Style MSE which you apply to join - it's ran by nicki - so if you join up you should be able to find us or when you've joined pm me your real name and I'll find you.

As for locations, some people have got a vague location by their name such as mine says Stoke-on-Trent and some people we know where they live from the Christmas card list from last year. Triker and pigpen live near each other which is why they end up down the pub together!

Hi Rach – good luck with your list – I missed Little Miss Naughty! How did you get on with your pot plants?

i still need to re-pot them! But I realised I'd over-watered the umbrella plant and it was too dark where it was, so i've squeezed out as much water as poss and put it somewhere brighter - fingers crossed!

    Afternoon all,
Im in the middle of changing the house around:)
all boys in one room, Natalya in the other, and spare room for my friends who are coming to live with me!!!:) It makes economical sense for them to move in, and the house is big enough, and will be even bigger in a couple of months, as planning permission has been granted for a 2 bedroomed and shower room extension!!!
I have so much rubbish, that im getting my friend who has a van to come around later on and take the stuff to the Dump:)
    :jIm going to be frugal:j
