    hello all

    almost my first visit since last weekend, worked a couple of evenings last week then had my parents to stay thurs night so just never managed to get on (or read most of the thread...)

    flat is relatively ok as we gave it a hoover and s&S for parents coming but i'm now off work for 2 weeks - YAY :D we go away on thurs aft but DH's at work tues & wed and i'm not so I plan to do a bit of organising and sorting.

    pokladot - i work in the east end!

    DH is still in bed, i needed the loo and was boiling so i got up to read my book - 'Salmon fishing in the yemen' it's fab has anyone read it?

    am going to re-post in a sec with a list of stuff for today & tomorrow. DH will be studying so I may as well crack on....

    my list for the weekend:

    post rental dvd back
    Binbag dance... Fling in the bin, charity shop or rehome!
    take bag of stuff to charity shop
    finish book
    return books to library
    water plants
    top up shop
    shredding
    Clean the porch
    Attack a hotspot and beat it into submission!
    Wash any soft furnishings that are needing it!
    Have a few hours off and don't feel bad about it!!
    transfer cash to work account
    figure out how to use usb mobile modem (from work)

    wm - towels
    wm - spare bedding
    wm - clothes

    i have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge list to catch up with........am contemplating not going to work as well....would rather be doing my own work than someone elses.

    Morning everyone, Here's my list:

    Thursday Throw out!!- Master Bedroom
    Level 1
    Level 2
    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs.
    Level 3
    Vacuum floors in bedroom
    Sort through a cupboard and fling everything that is dead
    – must do this as having a car boot on Monday.
    Extra tasks list: 27 fling boogie

    Weekend List
    1. Clean the porch
    2. Attack a hotspot and beat it into submission!
    3. Have a few hours off and don't feel bad about it!!
    Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Best of luck with the leaving party Mrs V - I hope it all goes well for you. We'll be moving in October, but luckily only to the next road (next door to MIL :eek:), but it'll be the first time that I've ever moved house (unless you count uni - I suppose that counts) and OH will be working, so that'll mean that cos I'll only be part time (supply) most of the work will fall to me.

    The car boot on Monday is an attempt to get rid of a lot of unwanted stuff before the move, but persuading OH to do the same is becoming a bit of a problem as he is a hoarder!

    I do not believe it, we have sun shine here. First wash on the line, second going in the machine and then today I intend to garden as much as possible.
