Morning lovely ladies.
I shall be doing no flying today:D I have the day to myself until i have to go to work, so i'm going to lie on the sofa and do sweet FA.
Sun is shining here too, but it did that yesterday and lulled me into a false sense of security and rained all over me:rolleyes:
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'm not really here - I'm shopping in Sainsbury's - well, I jolly well should be!
jo and pigpen - after lots of looking we bought new sofas from The Sofaworkshop in January, and we're very happy with them. There is quite a range of prices, and we certainly didn't go for the most expensive! There's a mail order company called sofasofa which are alwasy sending me brochures, and they do hold a viewing sale a couple of times a year - I didn't go for them, because I wanted us all to sit on the sofas before we bought - just as well, as none of us liked the original two designs I'd chosen from the website, and ended up with another totally different and in duck egg blue instaed of cream!
pigpen - thankyou for letting me be a virtual sister- I was beginning to feel a bit elderly there...age is funny isn't it|? I asked my mum once if she felt properly grown up, and she said no. I feel about 17 somedays (but without the teenage rage and angst!) and 110 on others...
Now I really must go - see you later!!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Good morning:)
Rach I actually live in SE london, but on the same page as the Greenwich pier;)
GandB You deserve a bit of a loaf about-enjoy it
Jinky Hope you lose the headache soon
I haven't looked at the list yet but will after coffee.Im not sure I'll do the list though but heres my own for the weekend:- Finish sewing baby bag and wrap ready for collection
- Finish sorting hallway cupboard and freecycle unwanted stuff
- Collect plant pots from freecycler.
- Fininsh sorting kitchen drawers
- Prepare carrots for freezing
- Find something to do with the cooking apples Lady over the road brought me a HUGE bag of cooking apples, found a recipe elsewhere on the site for a sort of apple sauce-but 500g of apples makes 1.5 litres of sauce:eek: Anyone have any ideas to share with me please?

Morning all, well I'm psyching myself up to get going camping.
When I say psyching myself up this means that I'm sat in bed on this laptop.;):p:D.
Put one load of washing in to take advantage of the 'not rainy type weather' thing ......believe its called sunshine or summat:D
Going to get that load out on the line before I head off and maybe another load in..
Apart from that I'm not going to do anything else except prob sit in a traffic jam for a few hours.:rotfl:
Hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever your up to. xDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Pigpen Did I miss you getting guests-your sleeping on a sofabed? Ive been doing that a bit the last few days-we have a stock standard metal frame one with a futon mattress and I love it.
Our bed is shafted so needs to be flung.. so.. This is the VERY short version..
We are decorating the middle room downstairs and putting a sofabed in there which hubby and I will be sleeping on.. unless I cancel his flight and leave him in Germany!!
We are then throwing out our dead bed and slapping white emulsion in our room and moving the 4 girls into my bedroom.
THEN.. we are putting up a partition wall in the girls room and some stairs to loft access and decorating the girls room
The girls will then be moved back into their room, we are getting a new bed and moving back into our room and we will have a very useful sofabed in the middleroom.
Then we will finish the loft conversion to accomodate the 2 oldest girls.
Then all the rooms we decorated first 3 years ago will need redoing!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
