I really ought to make a move - I'm waiting for the kids to get dressed before I start dinner as I've told them they're not having dinner until they're dressed - mainly because I wanted DS's pjs to put in the WM.
Might put the chicken in the oven and then we can have chicken something for tea tonight - don't know what - as well as having a chicken dinner tomorrow.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

I have a chicken in the fridge totally defrosted which I am going to have to cook and refreeze before it grows more legs and runs away!! The beef I got out for Monday dinner I cooked overnight on Wednesday, sliced on Thursday morning and refroze.
And now I am having to deal with an insurance claim on the blooming package sent for my mother to Australia.. see what I mean that I do actually do everything!!!!!!!! I am on the verge of malfunction now I think.. I just want to go hide in my room and cry.. then I'd look like a deranged panda when I go out tonight and everyone will laugh at me..
The children are being much better behaved today..... the fizzy pop effect has worn off all of them apart from DS3 who is still bouncing off the walls!
I have another 9 ebay parcels to wrap ready to post on Monday then I can ignore it all for another week!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hello Ladies
Remember me??? yes the one that is always moaning on about something;) .
Back from my month in Spain visiting my Mum. Felt very strange Dad not being there but we got practical stuff sorted. I even drove his pajero whilst over there (even ventured on a spanish motorway), go me:D . Leaving mum over there alone is hell but I am trying to accept its her choice and just live in the hope that she will change her mind and come back to the uk.
I have a busy time ahead of me. I start my 30 hr a week job on 1st Sept, still trying to arrange child cover till DD2 starts school full time at end of month:mad: . Was a mix up with start date so littles booked into holiday club tue to fri next week. As we have paid for it will let girls go and hopefully give house a deep clean and stock freezer up.
Not had chance to read back through the posts but will hopefully catch up with anyones news.
I am tackling the girls bedroom as they are at Nannies for a sleep over. Got a bag of tack already. Will sort through the uniform stuff next and work out what I need to buy - both will need school shoes though so that will hurt!
Best crack on me thinks.0 -
welcome back shell - hugs to you, it must be hard for you to leave your mum but I guess it has to be one step at a time and she'll feel closer to your dad living where they lived together. I know that's what stopped my gran moving near to my mum for quite a while after my grandad died (she did move eventually)
WM is still going with load 1, seems to have been on for hours - and I nipped to sainsbury's to get a few top up bits, including bread and milk - ended up with a pair of trousers & 2 tops tooapart from that am surfing the net, reading, and watching the olympics in pretty much rotation... have also swapped all my stuff into the new purse my mum bought me yesterday - replaces my knackered one!
we have lasagne leftover from thursday night when my parents came, so easy dinner for us tonight, must pop the wine in the fridge though.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I'm here...sort of. House hunting is complicated, house I viewed yesterday itself is almost perfect (just needs a clean!), its the actual applying that's the problem with all the red tape etc :mad::mad:
I've spent the morning either on the phone, or on the OU website trying to sort out the next course - didn't realise how long I'd been on it until my tummy started growling.I've given up and emailed the careers advice people
Next step, more dailies of tidying up, S&S and I need to wash dishes as well. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Why did I decide to pick blackberries when I'm wearing shorts? And no it's not a pretty sight!!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

One is welcome:D Its a permanent clearance site which is great. The hot man in trunks didnt distract you for too long then? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Shell.. Welcome back hun.. I know it must have been terribly hard leaving your mum there but she may well return in her own time.. One step at a time! All you can do is support her decision and let her come to terms with it all. Hugs to you all..
Another few ebay parcels ready to go.. and I moaned at my mother about the sick in the garden yesterday morning.. she reckons it was my sisters OH as well.. I knew it was him anyway... nooone else had been eating the pretzel sticks!!
Hubby has been on the phone and apologised for yelling at us as he was leaving... I said it is all well and good apologising but you shouldn't have done it in the first place.. it wasn't our fault!! He needs to learn self control!!
Wm's both on.. and I am severely lacking in motivation today.. I don't know what is wrong with me.. I think I need a slap!!! I'll just get over this stupid phase and I'll have PMT for a day.. ARGH!!!
Apparently my mother and sister are taking me out for dinner as a thank you for having the party here.. but we can't go until next weekend when hubby is home.. My head said Don't effing bother.. but my mouth said.. yeah ok, whatever... I'll feel better by then probably.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
