Is it raw or cooked? Whole or in pieces?

Cooked - at the moment it's a whole one we're having some for dinner tomorrow and some for tea tonight.

You could slice it up thinly and do cold meat with pickle and salad.

Ooh thanks for reminding me about X Factor pigpen - I wasn't going to watch this series as the people I wanted to win last series didn't, but then we watched the repeat on Sunday as there was nowt else on, and I'm hooked again *runs off to see what time it's on*.

Does anyone know anything about Franklin Mint heirloom collector plates?
DF just popped back in from over the road and dropped of 5 of them. They appear to be the Scaredy cats range and they all have a certificate of authenticity that states:
Franklin mint certifies that (name of plate) bears an original work of art by bill bell and bears the signature mark of the artist.
It is also certified that this heirloom collector plate is crafted of fine porcelain and is bordered and individually hand numbered with 22 carat gold.

I finally got my test results back yesterday which confirmed a kidney infection (don't know why they needed to test for it, I knew that was what it was). So I've finally got some antibiotics and apparently should feel better by the end of the bank holiday  Just in time to go back to work!

So instead of a weekend away, I'm having a weekend at home mostly sleeping interspersed with a little light housework and gardening - and if I feel really energetic, finalising the grades on my team's mid-year appraisals (I have to do this when I'm feeling stressed, so I can make tough decisions quickly:o ).

Hope you've all managed to see a bit of sunshine today!

Have it sliced cold with salad tonight, then make Tamasin Day-Lewis's Chicken Savoyarde tomorrow (it's dead easy, and always impresses!). http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/513665

As the chicken is cooked, you only need the stuff for the sauce, and you can always improvise if you haven't got quite the right ingredients! It also freezes well ;)

I have Go Diego Go stuff, Lunar Jim stuff and a toolbench.

NCT sale, advert on local Netmums site, card at Tesco's/local shop?

Good luck - I'm just about to delve into DS's toy boxes myself. Lets see what we can find to go...

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Dh has just gone to take his lorry back to work and then he'll be home. I didn't know he was bringing MIL with him just - the house is a pigsty and I know she'll comment!
