  • Evening all!
Popped to our nearby Mr T superstore this afternoon and picked up some back to school clothes for me!
Then after dropping DS off and cooking dinner, DH and I did a HHC to tidy up the house ready for tomorrow.

    Plans for tomorrow:
    Tip run
    Clean bathrooms and change beds
HHI plus another HHI (probably another one after that!)
    Baking

    Monday:
Name school uniforms ready for back to school
    Catch up with washing
Go out on bikes with Gingerkids or if weather is pants then go for a swim

    See you later

:hello:Hi AnW's mum - did you hear me wondering where you were? I was going to start my post to ask and there you are- spooky! I have an OH glued to the Olympics, and have managed to largely miss most of - the housework is up to date just about, and I've nearly run out of books to read! Yes, we are a gabby lot, but I think a little bit of flying went on!

Awwww thanks for thinking of me :) the pc has hardly been on this week due to the Olympics. A has already decided that she wants to go to London in 2012 to watch the althletics and the swimming! Told her we might just have to invest and go as if it's another 64 years coming to the UK then I will be 102 and she will be 72 and we will both be far to old!!!!! :p As for the housework here erm well less said the better :o

Polkadot, mystery shopping is where you are paid to shop somewhere and report back about the customer service, cleanliness of the store etc etc. have a look on the extra income board for information and companies you can join up with.

My mum has a ton of Franklin Mint plates, she used to collect them years ago when I was a kid, god knows why cos she never put em up, they are all still in the boxes covered in dust! She keeps asking me if I reckon they're worth anything (who does she think I am, David Dickinson!!!) but I've not got the faintest, so if you do find out, let me know!!

Done pretty much nothing on the flying front today bar the ongoing chore stuff, promise to make headways with it tomorrow and actually look at this list thing you're all doing

    Night all :)

vanilla hope your DD is ok
AnWsMum hello :) lovely to see you pop in, yes I did thank you x Someone was saying some hotels are booked up already for 2012!
shell welcome home honey, well done with the driving. Like you said it's your Mam's choice, she's obviously confident about staying.
Franklin Mint - they don't seem to sell for much at all, seen plates go for £3-5 on ebay and at car boots.

jo1972 try going to a shop and asking for a shop stock one, maybe a local shop rather than a chain? I remember ours took months, they promised us it for Xmas, it arrived the day before Xmas eve and we'd ordered it in the September. What about a second hand one? Seriously my friend just got a beautiful suite out of the adtrader (free ads), 2 months old, lady didn't like the shade of green it was, she paid 1/5th of the cost price. The photo yes, it looks a bit more peaceful than it is, but the sound of the fall, which was quite loud, drowned out the noisy tourists. We stayed there little while until was just us there at that point, to enjoy it without loads of people.

Today well it's been lots of washing with other stuff in the middle where I can. I helped DP clean his car out, was definately needing it after going away so often and so much mud/dog hair/junk. I'll be putting the dogs in mine from now so his can stay nice til we're touring about next year. Been and did a little food shopping, did miss the farm shop which I'll have to go to next week but got some things we needed, printer cartridges and a vacuum cleaner to use in the caravan because the dustbuster handheld thing just isn't managing to keep me and my OCD with dog hair happy :o It's a cylinder pets one and the thought is over the winter I can use it as my upstairs vacuum cleaner & car clean the car out at the expense of the caravan sites :D

Managed to get petrol lawnmower on freecycle which will save me some money so will be cutting the forest down tomorrow (fronts not too bad but back has been left since lawnmower was smoking) hoping it'll get through it a lot quicker than the electric one did.

Think I should do a list for tomorrow as I've been doing bits of everything and not getting very far at all! Will work on one when I go up to bed after seeing to dogs, finishing putting shopping away that's left :o and tidying the kitchen up.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

Thanks for all the welcome backs and words of wisdom. Spoke to mum last night and she is doing okish, only to be expected I know. Trouble is she only has a mobile so even using the bt vision phone its still 17p a minute:eek: .

Think I have childcare issue sorted for the 4 weeks I need it in September. The lady I arranged it all with before I went to visit mum had forgotten all about it when I rang her back on my return. She expected me to just meet her at the school on the 3rd and leave DD2 with her. I dont even know where this woman lives:eek: . So phoned a few more and go to look at a place on Wednesday, but its the lady my driving instructor uses and she speaks highly of her so another one sorted;) .

    Plan today:-

Finish girls room (trashy telly got in way yesterday:o )
    S & S bathroom
    Hoover through:o
    Make lemon drizzle cake
    Shopping

Think that will do, need to break myself back in gradually:D . Still not managed to read back through thread so hugs to all that need them.

Looks like it is going to be a nice day so we are off out with my sis and her kids to the local EH Castle, apparently they are doing some special event there so the kids should enjoy it.

Better get dressed and get a picnic made, hope you all have a good day xx

    Morning all

So pleased I gardened all day yesterday as it has poured all night and is raining lightly now - boys off to a cricket tournament so wonder if it will go ahead - it is at the moment.

Going to shower and do the toy sorting with DS3 whilst they are out and then see if it stops raining to do a bit outside.

AnW'sMum glad you are ok hun, I often think of you

Have a good day flyladies x
