    Well done on all the amazing GCSE results:j :j :j :j :j

Mrs V, Your MIL must be really miffed at you moving so far away.

My old dog is poddling about, she had borderline kidney problems and a bad ear infection. She is so much happier than when I got home from my mini holiday. The five I left at home thought she was behaving oddly because she was missing me or because of her age. She has to go back to the vets tonight so I will see what they say. She has had 4 strokes and is still wagging her tail.

mumoffour My kids all grew out of their asthma too. About middle primamry school age roughly. I never grew out of mine though, I am still on steroids after the bronchitis. I do think moving here with the cleaner air has helped everyone. My asthma seeed to have gone for three years then we had a trip to Essex in May and I had an attack whilst there and havent recovered yet.

Actually been thinking and talking to OH since i posted yesterday and i wont be flyladying again, i do not want to be part of this thread anymore but instead of just disapearing like last time i wanted to let people know why i wont be around, i really did want to start again hence why i posted yesterday but realised its not a good idea.

I cant post publicly why i wont be taking part anymore as it would be taken as a personal attack by the moderators and i might lose my MSE membership which i would be gutted about.

It was really nice to be a part of this thread though and would be nice to still chat now and again.. so please dont forget me! I'll still be posting other places on the boards. But specially to those of you who have me on your facebook list.. i promise to make more of an effort!

I am really sorry you are going Johanne.
Best wishes for you DH and baby Sarah.

    Afternoon ladies.

Another step forward and 2 back it feels for me today, but i am beating myself up as i am trying to do what i might have managed without 2 under 2s, and then feeling bad when i haven't. I spent a bit of time bouncing both boys on my knee at the same time as DS2 has learnt to chuckle, and we had a great time, and that should be all that matters really. Never mind. Both boys now asleep again, but i felt i was deserving of a cuppa and catch up, and did do a sitting down job at the same time.

johanne sorry to see you go - it is manic with a small bubs, i am finding it so hard to be any part of the thread too, and it gets me down at times as i have been here since the start, but you do what feels best for your family, life goes on here, but it will be nice to see what you are up to on facebook.

well done to anyone who managed to pass a GCSE today to those who didn't do as they wanted, it may feel like the end of the world today, but life will go on, and they will get where they want to be, they just don't know it yet. Hard for them i know, as you put heart and soul in, and it can be very disappointing.

    My Thursday achievements:
    • both boys up/dressed/washed/fed by myself as DH went to work at 5:30 this morning
    • WM x 2 - load of whites, my maternity jumpers finally to remove them from the chair
    • pegged all washing out, only to have to bring it all in again when it immediately rained
    • then got it all hung on the big airer, as well as putting back all of the stuff DS1 decided to pull off the other airer while my back was turned
    • fed both cats
    • washed up breakie and lunch dishes
    • untangled my windchime and repaired it - now hung too high for ds1 to mess up again
    • run steriliser, made up baby rice and DS2 loved it again. Big smiles the whole time
    • put cardboard recycling out
    • filed a pile from the TV cabinet so that is a bit clearer
    • picked up all clothes from bathroom floor again - must put the laundry basket where ds1 can put stuff in again, as he was pretty well trained before
    • tidied DS1s coats/rucksack etc onto pegs in hall
    • booked cattery for weekend away in October, and for xmas, unfirtunatedly they are full for when we wanted in Sep,
    • emailed DH and MIL these confirmed dates and wrote on calendar
    • discovered i sold a book on amazon, so printed the sheet and packeaged that, although probably won't get to post until Sat.
    need to do today:
    • post Thank you card from DS1 to ILs to thank for holiday, and wedding acceptance card
    • make tuna pasta for dinner
    • put recycling out, and green compost bin - try to have a small garden challenge to fill it a bit
foreversomeday hope it was you - you were asking for old sheets? Boots sell maternity mats, which are 5 for £3. They are a waterproof backed cotton based pad, which you can put under you when you sit/sleep if worried after the baby arrives. I also had one on in case my waters broke in bed to protect the bed, as DH refused to sleep on the mattress protector.
Or you could use an old towel. I only needed a couple but then passed them on to my friend who was expecting, otherwise i would have sent them you.

Right, let me see if i can sneak up to the loo without disturbing the boys, then do something.

    Michelle, x
