Good luck Nicki. I don't see why they should be concerned about DSS - surely its not their business where you get the money for the rent from, just that you pay it! Surely you're more likely to be able to pay if you know you have a regular income than if you were doing overtime to pay the rent? If anyone asks, just tell them it comes from your trust fund :D

OH is really good at leaving out say the casserole dishes because he can't be bothered to look in the cupboard and find out where they go!

Glad that is a universal problem and not only happening here.

G&B I guess you do get to keep the rabbit so maybe the ebay ordeal is worthwhile?

    Plan:

    [STRIKE]Shower
    Order paint
    Ring mother

Actually been thinking and talking to OH since i posted yesterday and i wont be flyladying again, i do not want to be part of this thread anymore but instead of just disapearing like last time i wanted to let people know why i wont be around, i really did want to start again hence why i posted yesterday but realised its not a good idea.

I cant post publicly why i wont be taking part anymore as it would be taken as a personal attack by the moderators and i might lose my MSE membership which i would be gutted about.

It was really nice to be a part of this thread though and would be nice to still chat now and again.. so please dont forget me! I'll still be posting other places on the boards. But specially to those of you who have me on your facebook list.. i promise to make more of an effort!
  • Sorry to hear that Johanne.

Soappie what draws you to NLP? I htink there are loads of trainers in it, but I did hear of that chap you mentioned. Can you get a taster before you commit to check him out?

Sorry to hear that you won't be on the thread any more. Best of luck with your little one, and hope that you enjoy your time off with your OH.

We will all be very sad not to have you here any more and I truly hope it has nothing to do with anyone here who has made you feel this way.. I would be very sad if that were the case. We will periodically ask Nicki how you are doing though. Much love to you and Sarah.

Back, nerves shot to pieces, with large strong coffee and chocolate!

    DD's Results:
    B - English Lit, Art
C - Eng Lang, French, German, RE
    D - Maths, Science, History
    E - Citizenship

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I think she was reasonably pleased! But just a bit disappointed that she didn't do better in French (predicted A) and History - wanted to say 'so there' to teacher! She's okay for her A level subjects, and will be retaking Maths.

DS1 got D for English - I've not texted him yet, but will do - he's going to be disappointed. He did get fairly close to a C though apparently, so they'll be persuading him to retake.

Phew - I'm glad that's over for this year! Pigpen, when you've got all those results bunched together one year, would you like me to come up to you with industrial quantities of strong liquor??!!;)

Another coffee and then I'm off to blitz the bathroom.
