I've:
Loaded WM
Emptied Airing cupboard
Sorted all the towels out and put them in the case
Put some curtains, tea towels, etc. in charity bag
Put yesterday's dishes away
Cooked mince for the dogs before I get some more out of the freezer - I don't want to get them confused!
Got a phone call to make now and then I'm going to have a quick bath before I start my ironing at 10.
Also need to phone DH to see if he wants to keep the nets we took down from upstairs. When we had the new windows in I said I wasn't going to bother to put the nets back up as they blocked out too much light.
Catch you in a bit

Morning! DD just up - a friend rang her a few minutes ago, and apparently shouted 'Wake up!!' very loudly down the phone! More effective than me trying, I think I'll have to get him to do it every morning! She's panicking thoroughly here, although I've told her it really doesn't matter - there's nothing that can't be fixed, and anyway I'm pretty sure she'll have done better than she thinks.
I have DS1's English GCSE results to pick up as well.
Mo4 - DD says get in there girl and get those results!
pigpen - definitely today, no matter what the school says. The papers have already written their 'Record results mean GCSE's are easier' stories...Wouldn't it be nice if just one would write 'Well done to fantastic students and teachers!!'
hollyh - I hope you're feeling better today. It's interesting that often men do have a different approach to tasks, and don't understand why we're bothered. I'm currently training my sons that clearing the table after a meal means every item on the table, and putting them away, not just the plates, and includes tucking the chairs under as well. So, washing up means everything, and drying it and putting it away. OH is really good at leaving out say the casserole dishes because he can't be bothered to look in the cupboard and find out where they go!
Limescale on loos - soak toilet tissue in white vinegar and pack around under the rim leaving for as long as you can manage. Throw away, then brush vigourously.Repeat as necessary.I wouldn't suggest anything like a knife, as you can damage the finish. The acid in the vineger should help dissolve the limescale. Bleach is alkaline, so doesn't get rid of the limescale. Don't mix cleaning stuff together either, as you can get some chemical reactions you may not expect! I would think that vineger in the pan would help acidify the water to get rid of any limescale at the water level.
Oh my word, my mother (never in the slightest bit interesed in housework, which is why it's taken me so long to learn) would be shocked that I could write so much on the subject of limescale in loos...
Leaving in 15 minutes. I can't concentrate on flying until after! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Need to go to post office today to post hubby ebay stuff, how come i did all the listings, packaged up all the stuff(with a helpful chorus of 'you're doing it wrong') and am now shipping all of it, but he gets the moneyI think i have MUG tattooed on my head somewhere:o

Morning all,
I'm busting to get on here and do the list you're all doing but I've too much to sort out before I can even think about tackling that! Maybe next week I can start doing all the 'normal' cleaning rather than sorting out the clutter
Okay, I'm giving myself an hour now as DD1 is leaving here at 11am to get her GCSE results (she's sat here calmly straightening her hair and my stomach is in knots).
I'm now going to load the car of all the carp I sorted yesterday, drive to the dump getting petrol on the way. Then I shall be back to get the kitchen ready to paint the other half.
I will I will I will:beer:

Hi all. Haven't been on here for a while. Been tidying/decluttering in no particular order over last few days. Kitchen is miles better - amazing how if you put stuff away, throw away out of date stuff and generally work at it, even a small kitchen can seem larger.
Good idea to check fire alarms are working, I need to check the Carbon Monoxide one in the kitchen (it's a portable one from QVC).
Master bedroom does need attention so this will be good to get started on this today. DW on. Need to find some floordrobe items needing washing. Started using Morrisons own brand washing liquid (can buy it as a powder too) and it smells yummy! Right, to work.:whistle:Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
:cool2: Cherryprint: "More stuff = more stuff to tidy up!" Less things. Less stuff. More life.Fab thread: Long daily walks

Morning!
I notice one instruction today is to fling old sheets etc... well I'm on the lookout for some old sheets and duvet covers and things because post baby I don't want to stain all our nice new sheets and duvets, without being TMI!
If anyone lives in the Warwickshire area and is flinging any to fit a double bed/duvet, could you PM me please?
Feel bad this week because I have hardly done any flying... but reminding myself that I had to recover from our weekend away with friends with a tiny baby (practice hehe!) and haven't been taking my iron as often as I should... naughty! However I did go out yesterday and buy enough material for 3 slings for baby for £15, very moneysaving when to buy one sling would have cost £25-30 alone!
Must sort out table in living room today of clutter.
galadriel, I can sympathise, why does my DF moan when I leave baby things and clothes on chairs in the bedroom (where we have hardly any storage at present) and yet find it perfectly acceptable to have probably about 10 computers in various states of disrepair lying around the house being used as doorstops and things?? Have managed to convince him to move most to the garage which is nice but there is still a broken Server in our living room which he keeps being too tired to fix after work, and a laptop which was probably made in about 1993 which he keeps meaning to try on ebay...
Fancied some porridge for breakfast but the small saucepan is dirty and I don't really have time to wash it up now... last time I made it in the microwave it exploded everywhere so I will look for a proper recipe this time!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0 -

I've got an appointment to view the house 11am tomorrow (great as it saves me an extra days train/bus fare & I was taking DD to Wigan anyway as she's spending the weekend at Ex's :money::j:D ) I started phoning at 8.55 and kept going until someone answered at 9.15 :rotfl:They take DSS and I'll see what I can find out about the area (supermarkets etc) tonight after I've done the back to school shop
:j:j So far there is a beautiful church and the closest supermarket appears to be Lidl
:D
Good luck for the exam results!!!!!!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
