One sufficiently smug parent having said 'told you so!!' to the most obnoxious arrogant little oik...

1 x A, 2 x B 2 x C and 2 x D .. he also did another course which he passed which is the equivalent to 4 GCSE's. But this is a predicted straight A* pupil. He is most miffed as well because one of the D's was history which he was predicted A* and he wants to do at Alevel.. that isn't going to happen unless he gets his butt in gear and does the resit as well in November. Nobody to blame but himself and his own lack of effort... Damn I feel smug!

Back to my scrubbing and flinging..

Now I'm torn - do I ask you to say 'Well done!' to DS1 or do I say 'Your mother told you so!!'

    Well done anyway!

    How's the party preparation going?

ps forgot to say that DD has one friend with a very high opinion of herself, who was very boastful about her mock results and her predicted grades. She was looking very red eyed today, and although I asked her how she did, she didn't answer, but DD just took her results sheet and looked, and told me after that she had got a few B's, mostly C's and D's when she was expecting all A* and A. I'm not gloating, but I do hope she learns just a tiny bit of humility...
