Your Ds did well - you must be well pleased!:j
In case I forget or dont post tomorrow - hope you get yourself organised and you have a lovely holiday!!:D
Toots xx
I'm afraid too that I'll miss someone so if I did I apologise
DS did really well and is now going on to do History Chemistry Physics and Ancient Civilisations at A level  . He was most surprised and pleased at the English as we though he'd struggle to get a C which was what he was predicted. It was a real lift for him as he had a bad day yesterday - he was on his new bike on the pavementand the seat jerked up and he looked down and ran into a little old lady who was waiting at the bus stop. The paramedic who came to assist her was his dad so he was able to give him an update on her facial injuries which werent too serious but it was a real shock and he spent the afternoon in tears. He's going to write a letter of apology for his dad to pass on.
Holiday will be interesting  and I still cant get motivated to do anything
Dusty the exam board for the Geography pilot was OCR where they condense stuff into the first year for the exam, then spend the second year doing a portfolio relating to the local area. Everyone was surprised in his group that they were all marked down. Luckily it wont affect his plans for A levels as he did well in those.
Mumoffour77 - you deserve to have that party tonight - well done :T :A :j   _party_
DD is currently sorting clothes for packing so will need to go and sort her out as she'll go waaay above the list I have given her
Perhaps see you laterMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Evening everyone.
Just been catching up with the thread.
Was night shift last night then went into the city to get my watch fixed as it couldnt be done here. Just needed a new strap. The guy here said they were expensive but it only cost me £4.50:D
Then took the decision to change from PAYG to contract mobile. So now sitting here with two phones waiting for them to switch over.
No flying as I went to bed when I got back and have just got up.
Mumoffour77 :T :T :T Well done.
nicki Hope the appointment went well.
Johanne Sorry you are leaving the thread big hugs to you, DH and wee Sarah.
Tag Happy Birthday to your DS1
pigpen Enjoy the party hope it goes well and you all have fun.

Have you tried using the clicky things for bites that stop the bite developing its itch? They're really good (just don't use them on your leg with your foot resting on the side of an enamel bath like I did. It made me realise that it gives you an electric shock  ). I can't remember what they're called, but can probably find out.
Congratulations/hugs as needed for those who have had exam results.0 -
