Triker - well done on the weight loss. Have a great day on Saturday watching the RL, hope you are celebrating come Saturday night
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board
  • i can't keep up with you lot - jeeze you can natter ;)

I am about to sign off for the night.

Had another frantic run round once DSs were in bed:
    • decluttered TV cabinet and wallunit of receipts/DVDs/anything put out of DS1s reach, and half of it was trash
    • washed a load of DHs stuff, that is now in TD
    • rescued towels from TD, folded, need to go away
    • watered all our plants
    • shredder filled and emptied into green bin
    • found a book that someone wants to borrow - got that ready to post with amazon parcel tomorrow
    • folded some clothes that were on radiator
    • wrote a shopping list for DH at ASDA on way home from work tomorrow.
    • wrote a list for myself for bargains at Somerfield
    • packed bag ready to take DS2 to baby clinic tomorrow - might as well as i will walk past to go to shops and PO
    • put DS1's toys away
    • washing up done
    • decluttered top of chest of drawers in our room
it looks loads better, and i found some vouchers that i could use, and properly put away a couple of receipts that need it.

will have a real tow on i think tomorrow to get the house looking more shipshape - shouldn't take too long - flick a duster and hoover round, and show the loo and sink some bleach.

then i'll change all the beds at the weekend before my mates come to stop

    No rest here.

Right, best go lay out clothes for tomorrow for the boys, load the steriliser to run in the morning, get cups/bowls out for breakie and so on - nadinadina

Night girls, catch up tomorrow x

Grrr  did a longish post and it vanished into the ether!

The gist of it was - brill Triker on the SW weight loss - are yoyu ared day or a green day person?

MOF77 That is brilliant - you are truly an inspiration! As a I said - my hero!

And to the rest of you flyladies - when term starts (2 weeks ) can I be a p/t fly lady? Purrleeeeese?:o

Dunno where my post is - and frankly -- WGASA -- but all I ahve to do now is change beds -3 (top and tail on kids but the full Monty on mine - I wash & iron 'em I deserve it) and a dust in my bedroom - kids do own)

    Roll on the weekend

I won't tell you what I said when i caught DS crawling up stairs on hands and knees to put GEL ON HAIR because he couldn't be a***d to remove football boots. The stairs that i HAND BRUSHED yesterday! For FOOTBALL TRAINING

    Forddington- Thank you so much!

Polkadot.....It was just so lovely the way my tutors really took care of me, I would recommend going back to education anytime, they were great the whole year through!! I honestly think they were more excited to see my reaction!! I kinda wear my heart on my sleeve, and the second tutor who is my psychology tutor, has said so many times that I will go far, and that I have very readable facial expressions!! They are so supportive of me and I really really appreciate them!!!

    Jo 1972- thank you!!

Hollyh, I am so sorry about your stepdaughters results, do encourage her to resit the important ones:) I waited for 15 years to resit my maths GCSE...(I got an F when I was 16), Your stepdaughter is luckey to have your support and understanding!!

Valli......What can I say???..........You again make me smile!! Thank you so much xx!!

I've lost 3lbs this week on slimming world, so that 6 1/2 lbs in total over 2 weeks.

    Pigpen, I finally got my s h i t together and got wireless and a little laptop.......I'm in heaven.....and the front room......and thhe bedroom.....:D .

So hope your all ok, PP will ring you soon hun, apologies for not being in touch, just the daily grind ground on and before you know it, august is nearly over.

No worries.. Glad you got the pc situation sorted though.. I have a nail appointment in the morning other than that I'm doing nowt so feel free to just nip round begging coffee.. and I have vodka now too!! lol.. And very well done on the weight loss.. I am most jealous and impressed!
You must be nackered pigpen you have been soo busy today - did the party go well?

    toots xx

My mother has just gone.. with my stepdad and 2 sisters and one drunken other half!! The middle room is a disaster area and needs severely gutting tomorrow and everywhere is covered in the stringy bits from party poppers.

Everyone seemed ot have a good time though it was marred for me by hubby being a complete Arriswipe before he left.. I didn't even get a goodbye only screamed at because he was late and not ready and not packed.. why is it my fault he isn't packed after knowing he was going for 3 weeks? Why is it my fault he missed his train? (He rang me from the station to yell at me about that too!!!!!) and then he had the cheek to blame DS2 and his 5 second memory for not telling him his taxi was waiting.. then he rang my from the train in Germany to tell me he had got there safely.. after I'd said I hoped his plane fell out of the sky.. which I know was very bad of me but he is really horrible to us.. I don't want him to die I just want to cancel his return flight!!!! How would he feel if something bad did happen knowing his last words to me face to face was 'what's the face for?' (I was pee'd off he was shouting at us for no reason and hadn't even said bye) and 'Oh f*** off'... (when I said see you later honey)

I am going to bed.. because I am in a strop and tomorrow is another day and I'll feel better... even though I have a whole house to clean.. again!

Triker... I didn't clear my desk!!!!!! lol
