Congrats and hugs to all those with exam results today.

Attacked master bedroom, did level 1 and bits of 2 and 3. Nice fresh sheets, lovely!

On a more serious note, tested the smoke alarms and found one of them was not working when I did the test function... Am now sorting this. Crikey, just shows how important this is. Thanks to OP.:A

    Thanks toots!!!

I kinda went in half expecting a D so i didnt even tell the kids!! When I went into the tech, two of the course tutors met me.....the first one asked had I got my results yet and i said no, then he said you can either go to the main office and collect the envelope or i can take you to my office and give you it, I said i would get the envelope and then take it home and open it, he laughed and said thats ok, so i went down to the main office and collected the envelope.....and it was open, so i peeked and saw the 'C' and ran into the course tutors office and screamed at him ive passed!! he got up and gave me a hug, and said i wanted to tell you because you were so nervous, but when you said about going home i thought i would just let you do what you needed!!! He then told me to go to another room and speak to the other tutor, so i did and just burst out crying she then hugged me and said i wish there was a camera i really want a camera now!!! She told me that everyone on the course knew my result this morning and wanted to ring me just to tell me to come in early and get it!!! I do have to say that they are a fantastic bunch of tutors, they know the whole situation and were very forgiving when I had to take time off for DHs operations!! I am just elated that i passed as it enabels me to apply to uni, without having to wait for another result!!!

Evening ladies and I'm glad that most of the kids got the grades they deserved.

Kaz your DS did great, I've not heard of Geog pilot - it is not one of the exams taken at our school do you know which board it is ie Edecel/AQA etc

Pigpen I hope the party is fun and well done to your DS on his results

Serena I hope DS is enjoying the festival and that DD is pleased with her results

Jo I hope your daughter cheers up soon, it must be so disappointing for her right now

It took much longer in town than I planned but Mum had DS3 so at least the poor mite was not being dragged from pillar to post. Finally got some black leather trainers which will do DS3 for school until his insoles are sorted. DS1 is fine with his brace and I managed to get him footie boots for his ridiculously wide feet to fit into.

The had some good garden bargins in woolies - no fab strimmer but did pick up one for £7 reduced form £12 - not sure what it will be like but it is only for a little strip of grass between the veg patches.

I've had to take some piriton for my bites as they are swelling and making me feel ropey now.

Going to do a quick HHC 7:00-7:30 before I get DS3 ready for bed and that will be it flying wise for me - tomorrow is another day.

Johanne you sound like you are doing so well with Sarah, well done for keeping the Breast feeding going and I wish you every happiness x
