You've got to love Edinburgh:D I do. Wouldnt live anywhere else in britain;)

We both love it; would move back there tomorrow :D My favourite place in the UK (so far).......

Yes Sin Aberdeen is for work; most of DH's business is done there and he is really fed up with the weekly commute so we are going to live there for a while and then see where our fancy takes us :p No family at home with us now so we are footloose!

Polka I'm afraid I did find Jo'burg pretty dull because we were there during the riots in the 70's so we kept to our neighbourhood really and at the time I really missed my friends in the UK. You were in proper Africa ;)

I have just popped in to say a quick hello.

The internet went off again today so I did hardly any flying other than dailies. Living room ceiling is now 2/3 plastered!!

Hi Johanne, I am glad you let us know how you are doing. Spend time with baby, don't worry about mess for now.

I do think my house is messier now with teens and twenties than when they were all little.

Wow, MrsV that is a huge move. When we moved here from East Anglia friends there behaved as if we were moving to a different planet. My sister still can't understand why we did it. When I learn how to post pictures I will post one of the view from my kitchen window.

  • Polkadot and GG the shop is in Potters Bar and we live in WGC - GG I never realised you were in bedfordshire - where abouts are you?

    Hi all!

Dusty - Sorry for the delay in replying - having problems connecting at the mo!!
Is it Precious Soles (I think that's the name - the one on the high street?) My SIL lives in Potters Bar, we're in lovely Luton so not very far away at all!

Just caught up on everyones news! Haven't flown today yet - but DH is going out tonight with his mates so I can do some later. I'm off to London tomorrow night to meet the girlies from school.

Have managed to laminate a menuplanner and appropriate a whiteboard pen from school - also printed stuff off the Christmas site to get my organiser ready AND got rid of 2 bags of DS old clothes to recyling point. Couldn't donate them as he is a nightmare with clothes and they are trashed beyond belief.

DD1 is now at Brownie camp until Sunday - but Brown Owl wouldn't take the other 2 - I did ask!! So tomorrow it's just me and DS and DD2. Not going into work now until Tuesday to do the payroll.

Right - need to cart DD2 and DS to meet the Brownie pack on their night out as DD1 has forgotten her Healthy Heart food diary - don't ask!!

    See you later!
