Job announcement was duly made today and was not good news. Centralisation is occurring - and we're not it! We have until maybe March next year or possibly a couple of months later - then who knows?
Feeling very unsettled - but it does concentrate the mind re debt clearing. Playing with lots of figures and ideas instead of flying tonight...
..but back to it tomorrow I promise Mistress P!
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -

Felt like I was hogging the board earlier so I am being quiet
It's my last Wednesday night in my lovely house tonight so I am having a large glass of wine  . Little Fat Dog is a bit agitated, she knows something is going on...........
DH home tomorrow so I will actually have to do some proper packingI love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams0 -

I know what you mean. My nephew stayed with me for 2 weeks just gone and I didn't dare have a drink; had visions of having to call my parents to take him to A&E if he got ill:eek:
It's a huge responsibility MoF77, would be nice if you could get a break.I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams0 -

Sorry to hear your news; you are right though it does concentrate the mind. Hope something good turns up for you. Maybe Mistress P will give you a day offI love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams0 -
Moam - don't worry about it too much, March is a long way away. You need to check your contract to see what your redundancy deal is. I was terrified when I was made redundant with no warning about three and a half years ago, but it turned out for the best.
My redundancy package paid off my debts, paid for my roof to be redone and I still had some savings - and I actually got another, MUCH better (and much better paid) job which started three days after my official last day (I pretty much stopped working as soon as I knew that they were letting me go, except when I needed to use work facilities to apply for jobs!).
So you never know... you might end up better off. Use the time to get your CV up to date and think about what you might want to do.0
