What a flipping day, sorry haven't had a chance to read the thread but will tomorrow.
We have spent most of the day at the vets. Bo was sitting at the door when DD came in to go to the toilet and she didn't see him and stood right on the external cage, the thing snapped Bo didn't yap or anything but did swing the head round. Rang the vet and went straight up, the vet seemed happy enough as there was no damage done and that he would just put a new cage on and 2 hours later he's ready to come home. Of course DD got herself in a right state (she never looks where she is going just straight in front of her), thankfully he's ok and she's calmed down knowing he's home but what a day.
I've got nothing done in the house except a load of washing and the house is a complete tip but i'm on my own with it all.
(Rant) Asked hubby to keep an eye on Bo till i put the washing out and i come in to find hubby on laptop and bo chewing the glue so we've had to cover where the pin comes out. No help at all but i'm to help him with the cattle, i wouldn't complain but it has to work both ways(rant over).
Right i'm totally shattered and heading to bed, night all.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
SSL how ridiculous that they have asked you to take down the Serenity prayer! What other things do people put up/have to take down?
Polkadot that loo cleaning is serious flying - I bet you keep going in there now gloating (like me)
Guns&Banjos great news on the bunny front - your OH must be all loved up - ahh
Pigpen looks like your daughters' probs are being sorted - great news
MoF77 serious discipline on the wine/drink front ISWYM - but being a naughty Valli I would resort to taxis;) - in fact when DD was admitted to hospital at 22 months with asthma I had taxid up to docs - because had no car. Silly me didn't realise how ill she actually was - unconscious and asleep don't look so different:o
MOAM job news is somewhat worrying - but like you said you have a bit of a warning - good luck with it all.
Now why didn't I think of this before? I had a word doc open so I have dropped comments in there!
So far I have...

taken DD dancing
15 mins weeding in garden (pulling up plants between patio blocks)
Cleaned out big food cupboard, tidied, wiped - looking good!
Beginning to run out of cupboards to clean;)
And didn't just vacuum landing and stairs also hand brushed it because hairs (mine!) stick to it and even my fab, strong vacuum can't get them up  - must be static!
Tomorrow will do bathroom to level 3 (easy because there are no cupboards, shower is broken so no curtain/screen) which I do every Thursday anyway,
and Dining room to level 3 - should be easy as a lot of decluttering has already taken place
All bins emptied - wheelie bin has to go out tonight as they get here about 7 am (Noticed 1 maggot but couldn't be bothered to pour boiling water in the bin - I usually swill it out every fortnight anyway with hot water and whatever - will be Stardrops tomorrow, then run the mop around inside and out because I am too mean to pay the wheelie bin washers to do it and I like it clean and dry -)

Polkadot i'm glad you got the tv sorted.
G&B i'm glad your LO enjoyed her first day in school. It seems only yesterday Ds1 was starting and he'll be starting secondary school in September. Also :j on the rabbit news your OH must love you;) .
Johanne it's nice to hear from you i hope everythings going well.
SSl i onced lived in a house which had been converted into two flats, i lived in the top one for 5 yrs and when the bottom one came up for rent i moved down there for 2 yrs. The bottom one was much nicer but everyone thought i was mad. Giving my new address to people when i was changing things over really confused them;) . Also in the same street my neighbours moved next door because that house had 3 bedrooms and the other one had 2. I now live in the same village just on the other side.0 -
Well, apart from washing the bedlinen, I have done nothing flyladywise - but I did take DS2 and DD shopping, and successfully bought a pair of school shoes for DS2 that a) he is prepared to wear to school and b) fit and are hopefully tough enough to survive the year. This, I may tell you, is worth at least a Level Three - actually, on reflection, pigpen's littlies probably score higher than my DS! None of my three have particular problems, thankfully, but DD has narrow feet and quite sensitive skin, so she's always awful to buy for, and DS2 just grows very fast. I'm sure he grew about 18inches in height the last year, and the feet stretched as well...
DS1 has successfully reached Reading, despite the train being delayed, and has registered, put up the tent and made a couple of friends. I did wonder if vivw was off there too as she did mention a festival! As he's already looking out for a particular band from Hull, I'm not sure I can ask him to look for a flylady as well - easy to spot though, she's the one decluttering the tent, and washing it down with a microfibre cloth and Stardrops!
pigpen - any news about college? I've been meaning to ask about the interview and how it went. Don't forget to wake up DS1 for his results tomorrow! I shall be taking DD in about 10am. So I'll be flying late again tomorrow. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

many thanks Greenbee - I have learned that's it's true what they (the other Flyladies) say - once you get the cleaning routines up and running it just gets easier - and TBH I do like cleaning it just took this thread to give me a bit of method and discipline. The main thing I get from here is decluttering - if I don't like it instead of dusting it I now throw it - so I have a box ready to e bay if I can be bothered or take to charity shop if I can't.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I won't have any maggots left though, cos they'll go for a ride in the big lorry!;)
I have been so lucky because both kids have outgrown their asthma and are healthy now - so I dare have a glass, or two, of an evening;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
