As my brother has also returned to college this year, my sisters are skint and I am living on the edge, we decided to do christmas MSE, so we are making a sweet each and sending them out to everyone so that we'll all have a selection come christmas.
I am doing fudge, I have a quick receipe but wanted to make sure I had the best as it has to be alright for best part of a month, relatively easy to pack and taste nice.
Suggestions please.Debt £5600 all 0%0 -
Hi guys!
Thanks for the replies.
I just took some of the "easy" chocolate fudge to a friends (to palm off on her now hyperactive children!) and after a morning out of the fridge it was noticeably much softer - so I don't think it would survive being in a hamper.
After a few more tastings of the chocolate fudge (the children didn't get it all.....!!) I thought I would prefer it as a coating for a cake.

Did you use a 7 inch tin as in the recipe? I've looked around and cant find any that size.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I've also lined a tupperware box with baking paper and used that instead. The only thing was the fudge was much thicker so needed to be cut in half before cutting into pieces.:smileyhea0 -
