I read Anniestars post on the pet board yesterday and caught up on it today.
Great post Snowy and well done Annie for responding. If she didn't like the thread, why post

Today, I have gained a bandsaw in my kitchen....lucky me.

I went to Tesco and spent my clubcard vouchers, all £9 worth, stocked up on value/cheapo stuff, I bought 2 jars of the lemon curd, don't know what it tastes like. I also got 2 tins of treacle ready for Twink making :D

Catowen, so pleased you and the kids had a good time.

Candy, it looks as though they have both been removed.
The complainer on Anniestar's thread took exception to the thread title.
I read Kaat's thread earlier and it didn't seem any different to several other threads on there.

Although it does look as though one of the mods has been moving/deleting threads on there.

Honestly, whatever happened to the be nice to all Moneysavers idea.

    hi everyone!

sorry its late, but I've had my family here today celebrating my mum's 75th birthday!!:j Good grief I hope I look as good as her if I reach that age!:D bless! I cooked dinner for all, my brother presented her with a lucky charm and a confirmation of a holiday he has booked to take her on in Sept to majorca! I took her to lakeside yesterday where she picked out a new fleece, and we shall all be taking her out to the Brick Lane Music Hall on wednesday for a matinee show and afternoon tea!! how civilized ducky!:rotfl:
Plenty of "my old man said follow the van" singalong stuff!:rotfl:

Its been a very very hectic week, as you know met up with Catowen on Wednesday, Thursday took kids on the London Eye, Friday we went to Legoland (as it was the only dry day!), and lakeside yesterday! phew!:o

    Hi all!

My Dsis is feeling more like herself today and her eyesight is slowly improving :D She gets worried that she is heading for another stroke when she gets these symptoms and it's hard for me not to overreact - because that's the last thing she would want so I have to behave accordingly. (She is the big sis, I think I have to be the one that needs help!) I love her to bits though and have to worry by myself..

My DD1, DD2 DS and DD1's BF have been out for pizza to celebrate DD1's birthday. Hopefully okay for all, although DD1 and her DBF had the hangovers from hell (her actual birthday being yesterday...) I got her the Cooking Guide for the DS, DBF being the most excited about this

I saw the bad comments on Anniestars thread, but not Kaat's - I am so glad these have been removed by the Board Guides. Hugs for both

Great big hugs for Kaat-Lady and Anniestar & Mark.

Both Phoebe and Archie were much loved cats and a big part of your lives.

SnowyOwl, what's a Cemetery SUnday....????

Squiggly - it's an annual event held at graveyards where the priest holds a ceremony and people come along to remember their departed friends and family. It lasts about 30-40 minutes and they are usually very well attended. It's not a pleasant experience in the wind and rain I can tell ya!
