Its PAYG with 3 so no mac required. Why would they have let him cancel/ downgrade before a year was up..?

Sorry, I haven't read the whole issue purplemoon but...I think 3 issue you with a PAC if you're in the last month of your contract. If you use it before your minimum term runs out then 3 will charge you for the remaining line rental you agreed to pay when signing up for the 12 month contract.

Edit: I think, if you ask for a PAC even a few months into your contract then 3 must provide you with it, if you go on to use the PAC then they'll charge you for the full contract as I said above.

For all those with renew their contract with TT200 plan. Are you 12th bill still show TT600 or the new TT200 price plan?

I renewed mine on 13 Oct, and now when I checked my online account, it seems that they have already updated my account price plan to TT200 even though I am still yet to receive my 12th bill.

any thought?

No new company involved- his intention was to stay with 3 on the same number (no pac/mac needed). What I don't understand is why he seems to have been allowed to downgrade before 12 months with the company. He told 3 that he that he wanted to be able to claim cashback from the Link, and they said there wouldn't be a problem...? And that the Link need the bill on the 11 month- and that they've already discussed this with the Link before. It sounds a bit odd to me. I tried to downgrade a month early last year as I wasn't in contacct with the person using the contract (in my name); they wouldn't go for it then!

I was quite clear with 3 that T&T 200 offer will not take place until all my 12months on t&t 600 are done, they had no problem with that,

Cheers. Hopefully that's what they've done to avoid worry and confusion for us. Originally he had called to go payg, but he called them a month earlier than I would have thought (giving 2 months notice).

See if you can get it changed back and a new bill sent out.

Your final cashback will be lost now that your bill shows a downgrade.

I called 3 this week to ask for my pac code.
They tried to convince me to stay - I continually said no - I can get a better cashback deal. In the end they offered me a new 12 month contract with 100 minutes and 100 texts for the equivalent of 46p per month. Basically all I have to do is pay £5.50 in month 12 (= 46p per month).

I said no and am now looking for a new cashback contract !

It might suit some of you though.

Is no one else worried about the contraditing ts and cs on the voucher for the nokia 6630 3g 12 months free on 12 month contract (Nov 2005)??

I've since disconnected after serving 12 full months...but cant help thinking about those ts and cs!
