Hi Strumpet - so sorry you are not feeling very well. Hopefully a nice early tonight, with a hot toddy and hot water bottle (plus OH if he is around) will have you feeling much better by tomorrow.

My only news today (and its BIG news) is that I have managed an NSD for the first time this month.:j

I killed two birds wth one stone today - I had a day at home but was working too. I had to spend the entire day entering PAYE end of year figures onto the HMRC website so thought I could do that just as easily from home as form the office and so I did. It was great - I got heaps of work done without any interruptions, was close to my Beechams hot lemon stash and could have the heating on full blast so I kept nice and snug.

What a nice day I had, even though it is pelting with rain and hail outside. Hope we have a thunderstorm. We might, if the colour of the sky is anything to go by!

Feeling a little better but still have a headache. I am so going to fail this exam on Thurday - I've done nothing for weeks about studying for it. Oh well - too late now!

Glad you're feeling better Strumps - sorry you're not Horace! I've had a cracking headache all day and despite taking 6 anadins (not all at once) - its still no better. Hope I'm not coming down with it.

I'm writing May of as month of rubbish and apathy. Setting myslef up to get a grip of myself and start afresh for June. Feeling not myself at the moment although the recent tests I have had all came back "normal" whatever that means. I feel like OH and I are just co-habiting at the moment as he is busy doing his things and me mine. We only seem to cross paths at bedtime 5 minutes after that, and we're asleep!

I know I will feel 1,000,000 times better tomorrow at 12:30 when I walk out of this exam even if it's a cpmlete disaster, which it probably will be. That's if I even get there because I am feeling so off colour.

    Moan moan moan

You might surprise yourself with the exam Strumps. Everything is crossed for you including my eyes:rotfl:

I am trying to stay warm as I have a luncheon (how posh is that?:rotfl:) to go to on Friday...called Women Who...I have paid £28 for it so I have to go - easy to get to as well, just a daysaver ticket and the bus stops right outside the swanky hotel were its being held:cool:

That's the thing when you shack up together - your paths only seem to cross at bedtime and sometimes not even then:rolleyes: Had a chat with ex on phone last night - the first thing he did was to launch into a tirade about his employers..not a how are you or anything like that so I pulled him up short. The lines of communication are staying open and we may even go camping later on in the summer - he is a friend more than anything else.

Strumps have a good moan it will do you good:D I'd love to have a moan but can't:rolleyes: I had a clear out of my freezer today and got rid of a game pie (I hate game and it wasnt mine) which has been sitting there for 18 months:eek: My freezer is looking a bit bare now:eek:

Oh well onwards and upwards...can't moan things could be worse..good luck for the exams Strumps. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh Strumpet - I'm sending you a big hug. You have had a lot going on the last few months. OH moving in was perhaps a bigger thing than you thought. It must be difficult too as you both have your own interests (which is good and you should have), but you also need to make sure that you do something together as well. Is there a hobby you could both take up? It just takes time to adjust but you must make sure that you both have "togethertime". When you are living apart its exciting when you meet up and you make the most of it, but when you are living together its easy to take it for granted. Your studying and exams on top of it obviously aren't helping either.

I have no more advice to offer other than to agree with Horace that you may well surprise yourself at the exam.

Would it be worth taking a tonic of some sort? Perhaps a herbal one.

Really hope you feel better soon. Best of luck for the exam please let us know how you get on.

I've had a rubbish May moneywise to be honest - spent far too much and am now overdrawn - am most displeased with myself. Will do much better in June.
