Ashamed to say that I didn't manage my NSD. Went for a walk this evening and put £1.50 on the Euro Lottery - you never know!

    I managed another NSD yesterday:j

Am going out for a business meeting today - its half an hour drive from me but I shall leave earlier as I am bound to get lost:eek:

I am going to town tomorrow as I have two mystery shops to do and I need to take a pair of linen trousers back to M&S - worn once, baggy as hell around the waist labelled a size 14 but must be a 16 or 18:eek: and the material has bobbled already:mad:

Not much to report really - all is quiet on the western front:j

Ashamed to report I still haven't managed an NSD.

In other news I have joined WW online (not very MSE but I hit rock bottom with my weight on Sunday):eek: Anyway I was thinking of joining for a while and now I have. The money I save on buying chocolate will go towards the cost:D It worked out cheaper than going to a meeting (and there isn't a convenient one near me anyway).

Well done Mrs P - is WW the one where eveything has points values?

I am trying to get my head around Slimming World. I bought the starter pack off ebay for £1.99, It looks good but complicated.

Best of luck though - it's really hard to do on your own though, so lean on us lot on here for your encouragement. You can do it Mrs P!!!!

I am now banning all recipes for fattening food from my diary so Mrs P is not tempted to fall off her wagon!

Strumpet - thank you for your kind words!

Yes WW is counting points. I actually managed to stick to it yesterday and had 1 point left over which I have saved. You can save points up for when you go out (which I am on Sunday night). I also did 1.5 hours walking yesterday (DH's expensive birthday present has come in handy) which netted me another 5 points - which I have saved.:T

I went to Tescos last night and bought some WW frozen desserts and will have one each night as a treat.

Was hoping for an NSD today but have had to shell out some money for a work colleague's birthday pressie.

I have tried SW in the past and failed miserably with it. Once you get your head around it its OK but when I did it you couldn't mix protein with carbs (think that might have changed now) and I found that quite difficult.

I'm being quite strict with myself and weighing the food. To be honest, I think its the only way.

Check out the SW website there are some recipes on there - good luck.

Well I have been tempted into spending today:eek: Firstly I took a pair of linen trousers back to M&S and was given a lecture about trying things on, I pointed out that the size 14 trousers had a size 16/18 waist and that as I wore them at a wedding I could hardly take them off in the middle of the room (a little white lie about the wedding). The material had also bobbled and I was told that it was normal as I moved around in them - remind me next time to buy a pair of trousers to just stand up in and not walk anywhere or sit down in them:mad: She gave me a credit note - part of which was immediately spent on buying 5 t-shirts that I just had to have:cool: I got a bit of a bargain really as I could buy one for a fiver but could buy two for £8:D

Then it was off to Selfridges as I had a couple of jobs to do there, I happened to wander past the Clarins stand (big mistake) and so I spent some money:rolleyes: Cant be bothered to go and have a spray tan so bought some Clarins stuff instead which will last longer and works out cheaper. Then I added some lipsalve to the mix and some more facial peel stuff - I now have enough points on my DaySpa card for a free facial or other treatment (1hr) and I got given a large silver bag with 4 samples of my choice (now the samples to me are large and not titchy) and because I had three items I was given a silver makeup purse containing two more samples which was also worth £45 so today I have had £85 of samples:j The silver makeup bag will be given to my friends daughter who moaned at her mother because she was given a Stella McCartney velvet bag (a freebie) for christmas.

I had a wonderful time buying biscuits too and never knew that there was so much to know about the humble bisquit:D
