Thanks Horace - I'm going to pop over there and sign up now.

Some good news - had a letter from Mint saying they will give us a 0% rating till Feb 2010 - my Tesco card 0% runs out next month. DH is just on the phone to them, it was in his name and I cut the card and destroyed it over a year ago - fingers crossed they will get us another card and we can do the deal.

Fab news about the Mint 0% deal:D

I didnt pamper myself at all yesterday - I slobbed in front of the telly instead:rolleyes: Now I came to ask Strumps a question or two about spray tanning seeing as he has had one before - a) do they make you look orange b) does it last a long time or does it wash off in the shower? c) do they exfoliate you first or do you have to do it yourself? I am toying with the idea of having one for next Saturday when my chum has her wedding dinner and I would like to wear a skirt only my legs are a bit pasty at the mo:eek:

    Hi Horace,

Spray tan is brilliant. You don't look orange AND I had the dark tan option!!! It lasts about 2 weeks but obviously it fades away over that time but it still looks great. A little of it washes off (the excess) in the first shower you have but that's part of the process. I didn't exfoliate as such, but I did moisturise very well for a couple of days before hand. The places where it tends to look odd are elbows, knuckles, wrists and knees but a good spray tan applicator should know the tricks to avoid. I had an all over tan so I was stood naked in front of the lady doing it - we had a right laugh!!!

You have to stand perfectly still for 20 minutes after it's done to allow it to dry, wear loose clothing (some tan will come off on the clothes so wear old t shirts etc although it should wash out), try not to have anything to do that evening - just sit and watch TV. Don't shower before bed (again, the sheets might take a hit!). Shower / bath in the morning but don't scrub. The water will trun brown but this is only the excess.

Then go out and flaunt your stuff!!!

It was money worth spending. I had one beofre I went to Gran canaria so I could be brown for the first few days while my real tan kicked in!

    Vain or what!!!

Thanks Strumps - I love you to bits:D Fancy standing there naked in front of a lady..LOL mind you us ladies laugh at things like that because men's bits are comical:rotfl:

I might see if I can book one for next Friday and then I will be ready for the bloomin' wedding dinner on Saturday (I am not looking forward to it one bit:rolleyes:)

The London chap is coming up for the weekend and he has been banned from smoking indoors (I wish he'd give up but he won't). I have calls to make too - one to Sammy, my lovely accountant as she is going to tell me what I need to put on this silly form to get HB, I told the local councillors on Tuesday how bad the form was and all they could say was that they knew but were unable to do anything:rolleyes:

Afternoon all - so far its an NSD and I can't see anything changing, but I'll wait till I'm safely home before I alter my siggy.

I like the idea of spray tanning - I'm completely white (except for my face which is weather-beaten with the wind down here) and I don't sunbathe either.

Horace - I thought the London chap had been given the elbow? I can't keep up:D

MrsP - its a complicated story with regard to the London chap, I am having to keep him onside for a bit because he can be a vindictive little swine..anyway I am busy next weekend and the weekend after he is sailing again and when the business picks up I will be available less and less:j Plus its fun having two on the go at once:rotfl::eek: (I have never done that before and have decided that as I approach middle age then its time to let my hair down and totally misbehave:rotfl:).

Strumps needs to change his signature box to show that he is participating in the new NSD challenge - I may well have another one today:D Come on Strumps - you're lagging behind:eek:
