Hope your washing machine is up to the task Mrs P. It's going to wonder what's hit it I imagine. Sending you good weather vibes to dry your laundry.
There's nothing better than washing dried on the line.

Unless you live next to a pig farm of course!!! LOL

MrsP - hope you manage to get to dry your washing today.

You haven't missed anything, I decided to be a good chum and send Strumps a duplicate order of some Elemis products that had been sent FOC:D I boxed them up yesterday with a few aftershave samples and posted them - I was really sensible when I wrote the details on the box:D

Hello Both - DH is plumbing in the new machine as we speak! The washing in the linen basket was almost piled to the ceiling and someone (DS I think) had placed the lid right on top of it.:rotfl: The weather has been nice today but being at work all day I'll have to dry it in the garage tonight:D

Horace - I'm sorry you were sensible when addressing Strumpet's parcel.:D

    Hi Horace,

I just got home to find your parcel waiting for me on the coffee table. I was a little disappointed that you had not labelled it as "Strumpet and the Pole Dancing Geezer"!!!!

Anyway, I am chuffed to bits with the samples you sent - thank you very much indeed. You have really cheered me up. It's nice to know I have friends all over the land!

Shocked to see that you paid £2.66 postage though - I may have to deal with that in my own special way!

    Thanks again

Strumps (who now smells VERY nice indeed and has VERY nice, soft skin!

Postage is nothing Strumps - I shall soon be rolling in money when I sell off my auction purchases, spent £71.43 for 3 large boxes of wedding stuff at a local auction house, I was expecting veils and petticoats but some boxes contained designer gowns, I have totalled up the value of the goods (some not priced so will have to guess) the priced value comes to £14634.85 and when I work out the price of the other stuff then I think the figure will be around £15500:eek:

God help me - I cannot see the telly for all the bridal stuff now - I have nowhere to put it:eek:

    Morning all,

I seem to be finally throwing off this cold at last. I should think so too cos I've had it for two and a half weeks! OH has suggested we pick up the badminton this evening so I'm trying to book a court somewhere.
I feel so tired at the moment but I'll give the badminton a go - I might be up for it if I start it. The thought is putting me off at the moment.

I am currently wearing one of the aftershave products sent to me by Horace. It is very nice actually. Horace is a very kind bunny!!!

Payroll day today so I will be semi-solvent again by Friday. Then OH will give me some money at the end of the month and I will be able to claim about £150 off my organist friend for work I 've done on his accounts too. So I will be making significant inroads into my debt mountain.

Hope you all have a good day.

No, I think it was the Dunhill one - the one you mentioned looked so fab I thought I'd save it for a special occasion!!!

The day is draggin and I am fed up with the office - I want to be out in the sunshine.

Opposite our site, there is an enclosed area of land which used to belong to the company that had our site before we moved here in 2005. A band of gypsies has just broken in and taken up residence with a fleet of shabby caravans and hundreds of urchin children who are busy trashing the portacabin on the site. At least there's something to look at out of the window!!!

If they stay there any longer ring the council and ask them to charge them council tax. My mum refused to pay hers when a band of tinkers set up camp down the lane unless the council charged the tinkers funnily enough the tinkers soon moved on when they thought they might have to pay something:D

I thought you would have shared the aftershave bits with OH so that he doesnt feel left out.
