That's reminded me of an old film with Nelson eddy and Jeanette McDonald - I can't remember the name of it but he was a mountee in Canada and the song went:
I'll be calling you oouu oouu
I can't remember any more and you'll be glad that I'm not able to record my voice on here and sing.:D
Maybe Strumpet will have time to "pop in" over the weekend.:jDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Let's hope so MrsP - how can he ignore his fan club
Anyway I have news - its official I am a page 3 girl:rotfl: - the article about the car I sponsored for charity appears on page 3 of the local rag:j
At this rate, Strumps will be asking for my autograph:rotfl:0 -
Hoarace - any chance of you scanning in the picture and posting it on here? That might bring Strumps back?Debt free and Keeping on Track0

Probably not - its my dads birthday on the 6, mums on the 7, my OH on 18, my chum on 19, my friends daughter on 14, another friend on 11, and yet another friend on 23:rolleyes: Then the next busy month is September:rolleyes: Some will get presents and others not.
Strumps if you are constantly hungry - do you have worms? or do you need to eat more say 5 or 6 small meals a day as opposed to 3 largish ones? Mind you, you could always do what the government were recommending yesterday as a way to shift excess weight something called sexercise:eek: I wonder if you can get it on prescription from the NHS?:rotfl:

Hey you lot - I'm back.
Sorry for not posting for ages but I have been in bed with an awful bug and now, having read the posts I'm beginning to think I got it from Mrs P....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anyway, I'm still not 100% but at least I can stand for more than 10 minutes at a time now.
Glad you lot have kept the diary going - I knew I could rely on you all.
A lot has happened in the last fortnight. OH and I have bought a new sofa and chairs for our lounge and sorted out a few things so there's a little bit more room in our house now. Still a long way to go though.
OH was away all last week in Dusseldorf so I was home alone whilst being ill so there was nobody to fetch and carry for me in my hour of need. This weekend, OH is flying to Amsterdam for the Pole Dancing World Championships. As a spectator, not a competitor - not yet anyway although he's completed Level 5 now and is about to start Level 6!!!
I am just trying to save money and be good foodwise but not doing too well. Having said that, being ill has made me lose 7 lbs!!! I'm not so worried about being the weight I am, but more worried about being the shape I am. I want to be nice a svelt like OH, rather than fat and dumpy like me!
I really have to make an effort - trouble is, when you feel so ill, it's even harder to get the motivation together.
So how have you all been?NIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00

Sorry to hear you have been ill Strumps - if you had my number you could have called and I would have driven up there and tended to you:D
Am awaiting a call back regarding a new project something involving celebs and a product launch at the Dorchester later in the year:eek: I would just love to do this:D OH came to stay over the weekend and was an absolute pig to be honest with you, sure he took me out for dinner on Sunday to the local carvery but then proceeded to nag me, I cooked last night and not even a thank you..grrr so when he announced this morning that he was intending to stay for another night I threw him out, he didnt even ask just expected it - now when I go and see him I always ask and am very polite:mad:
Your OH should come to Birmingham - we have more pole dancing and lap dancing clubs than anywhere else in the country:eek:
My mum doesnt agree with mothers day she thinks its american twaddle and an excuse for shops to put their prices up so we never celebrate it.
Nowt else to report really, although I have met up with my ex a couple of times - he came around last week to change some lightbulbs for me which was very sweet.:j It means I can now see to read a book and watch the telly.
Shouldnt worry about the diet Strumps - eat chicken soup to build you up a bit. Eat what you fancy - have cereal for tea and chocolate for breakfast do whatever you want.
Glad to see you back.:j0 -
Oh Strumpet - poor you! very gentle hugs to you along with get well vibes!

Strumpet - glad to have you back. So sorry you haven't been well. I'm still not feeling 100% a week later - slightly deaf in one ear and still quite "snotty".:D
Unfortunately I didn't lose any weight, but I did stay the same.:j
Did you get a nice pressie from Dusseldorf?
Amsterdam   I went about 20 years ago with a girlfriend and never saw anything remotely "different" (if you know what I mean).
OH certainly gets out and about doesn't he?
I bought a new fitness coach game for the Wii which is brilliant as you can set your level and it gets harder but not too hard so you lose hope! I got it a few weeks ago and used it for a couple of days and then got this rotten cold. Will be starting back with it mid week.
Horace - sorry about your OH - but well done for standing firm. Have you heard about the TV programme yet?Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

That's Mothers' Day - an opportunity for card companies to shame us into spending money.
I'm talking about Mothering Sunday, which I am bound to celebrate as a Christian). I always take my mum out for lunch. It's an opportunity to spend time with her and have a chat.
No nasty cards though. Anyway, my mum works on a card stall on Kendal market so she's seen them all and knows how much they all cost which kind of takes the surprise away!NIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00

Hi Mrs P
I know what you mean about the gym thing - I so want to get back into the gym but I know that if I try and go before I'm fully recovered, I'm on a hiding to nothing. Apart from running the risk of giving it to all the hard working gym bunnies, which is a tad mean.
OH is looking forward to Amsterdam. I'don't have any problems with him going. I trust him to behave, but even if he doesn't, I know he'll always come back to me anyway so no issues!
