Hi Horace,
Hi Mrs P,
Sorry to hear about your woes Mrs P. I feel guilty because up until a week ago, I had two washing machines - mine and the one that was left in my house when i bought it. You could have had that one for free! Except that we gave it to one of OH's friend last weekend as she's just left her husband and needed a machine.
I half did Ok this morning with my new regime. Forgetting to set the alarm clock didn't help though!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anyway, I awaoke at 7:30 which wasn't too bad. Got all the jobs done and lunch was leftovers from last night so no prep needed there. Still set of for work at 8:15 as planned.
Picking OH up tonight from Preston. The Pole Dancing World Championship was cancelled when the sponsor pulled out at the last minute and the organiser ran off with the money!!! So OH has had a weekend in Amsterdam for no reason!!!
Can't wait to see him - really missed him.
Horace - I will check out the Clarins stuff, although it may be too pricey for me. I seriously need to cut back on the spending. I haven't really tried hard enough since Christmas.

Hi Strumps and MrsP
MrsP sorry to hear your woes about the washing machine - I hate it when that happens, thankfully my machine doesnt get much use although it might have a fright this week because it will be used a lot as I am taking advantage of the warm sunshine to dry my washing.
Weekend was ok, went to the wedding fair at the NEC yesterday with one of the course tutors, she came to pick me up but I wouldnt let her drive me home as it would mean a trip out of her way so I got the train back. We were disappointed because no-one was giving away cake and that is one of the reasons why we went:rotfl: Mind, we did get some free sweets from swizzles - I managed to get some climpies which are my favourite:D
Am off out tonight - to the local conservatives AGM which should be interesting as there are some usurpers there trying to get in and trying to get the decent folks out:rolleyes:
Burnt my mouth on Friday lunchtime quite badly I fear, I had an enormous blister in my mouth all weekend, yesterday was particularly bad as I couldnt really eat but then I discovered some ice cream in the freezer - what utter bliss, the blister is now not as big so I think I shall have to keep applying ice cream to it until it goes away:rolleyes:
What sort of skin do you have Strumps? Just wondering
A weekend in Amsterdam eh? I hope he bought you something back like some decent coffee:D0 -
Sorry to hear about your blister Horace - sounds nasty. Keep eating the ice cream!!!!
My skin is normal but can get a bit dry sometimes. I use a lot of nivea. When I had a spray tan done, the lady who did it said I have great skin for a man!!!
OH says my skin is at its best just after a shower. He says it's really soft.
Bless him!

Hello Both - I feel I've missed out on something the last half dozen posts:D
Horace - so sorry about the mouth blister it must be so painful
Strumpet - well done on getting up earlier!
A couple of months ago I had a makeover type session with a stylist (work bought it for my birthday). She was lovely - like a female Gok Wan. She recommended Guerlain beauty flash balm - cost is around £60:eek:  Its out of the question at the moment, but when I told a friend she recommended honey cosmetics. There is a factory/shop selling honey cosmetics very close buy so I bought some of their face cream, hand cream and foot cream buzzzzz buzzzz. Anyway, the face cream is lovely and it really does sink into the skin. She explained that moustouriser was mainly water and did not sink into the skin.
Washing machine arrives tomorrow - can't wait as the washing basket is spilling over - lets hope for good weather so at least I can get it all dry.:jDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
