    Evening All

Very busy at work which is good I would rather be busy (but not too busy) than sat twiddling my thumbs.:D

The weather is so nice though hopefully it will stay that way for the weekend.

DS is going on yet another school trip - it seems to be one a week:eek: to Plymouth on Saturday to watch a football match - so DH and I will take the opportunity to go out and about on the bike! I want to take some photos of Cornish engine houses so we will be doing that and also visiting Lands End (its free on a motorbilke). The weather looks to be good so I am hoping to get some good shots. Might even squeeze in my first cream tea of the year.:j

I managed to lose a lb last week, but its very slow progress. Still at least it isn't going up:eek:

Until you've stuffed your face with that cream tea, Mrs P!!!!!

Hope you have a good time on the bike - if the weather stays fine, you should go down to Porthcurno and get in some sunbathing. Me and me ex did that one year when we were staying at Treverven farm near St Buryan. It was a great holiday - just such a shame it had to be spent with him, the self-centred, whinging, jealous, controlling, tantrum-prone freak that he was.

Now you know why he's an ex!

I am using the second half of the Dunhill aftershave fragrance. I quite like it but probably wouldn't buy it because it's named after a packet of fags!!! Smells nicer than fags though!!!

Can't wait to try some of the lotions though. I think OH and I deserve a session of massage with nice creams and lotions!!! Especially as he's been to the sun bed and is frazzled pink with overdoing it. I put some lotion on his back last night and it disappeared in about 5 seconds.

    Schluurp! Gone!!!

Good job it was from the £1 shop!!!

I'm thinking of something to send to Horace as a thankyou - any ideas?

Don't send me anything - I want for nowt. Your friendship is enough.

Don't you dare use that expensive cream on OH's back:mad: Use it sparingly as it is normally bloomin' expensive https://www.timetospa.co.uk (take a peak if you want to check the price) but at least they sent me a free spare after mucking me about.

Dunhill of London is a rather exclusive menswear shop - its just a pity that there are fags named after them:rolleyes:

I am always picking up aftershave and perfume samples so I shall send them your way (not the perfume ones obviously because you don't want to smell like a tart's boudoir:eek: ).

Don't hold back your thoughts on your ex - I was once married (in fact I still am:eek: ) to a creature like that thankfully I have left him and do my own thing until I can get a divorce. My current chap is a useless, selfish twonk and he is on his way out too:rotfl:

I'll stick with my old ex boyfriend for now - at least he changes my lightbulbs and he can pash well:o :D Funny how he was the one to insisted on seeing me and yet he is the one on the guilt trip at the mo, hey ho such is life, I am having fun and I have a spring in my step (or could that be because the heel is hanging off my shoe:rotfl: ).

Have had a busy day - the goods are listed, I need to take photos and upload them onto fleabay. I am having to guess what some items are because I haven't a clue and I need to find somewhere to sell the dresses so maybe I will have a chat to a friend who runs a couture shop:confused:

Wish you were here Strumps with your sense of style because you would be able to tell me if two white things either match or clash (why does white have to be so many different shades:confused: ).

    Love to all

    Hello All,

Strumpet - yes I will be calling in at Porthcurno - its lovely around that area.

We are doing a boot fair on Sunday and have started gathering all the stuff together - DH has just been in the attic and bought some stuff down. Fingers crossed for nice weather. It does mean we have to get up early on the Sunday though - we have to be there for 7am:eek:

I applied for an MBNA card recently and just heard today I have been accepted. When I applied it was for a life of balance. However, the email I received doesn't mention that offer. I will wait and see what happens when the card arrives. If they are not offering life of balance or zero interest for so many months then I will tell them where to shove it.:D

I have joined freecycle. I tried to get some material but was too late. What doesn't sell at the boot fair will be freecycled.

Have a good evening, Strumps with your lotions and potions and Horace with your dresses:rotfl:

    Howdy y'all.

Well a lovely surprise awaited me last night when I got in from work. OH said we should go out for a drive in the car with the roof down to spend some time together. We drove to Widdop Reservoir and walked along the dam and round the reservoir for a bit. Then it got cold so we came home, but the walk was nice and we talked about us and our relationship. We are back on an even keel now!

Then I made a HUGE lasagne for dinner, and was very MSE by using up all the manky apples in the fruit bowl to make a crumble!

Horace - I was only joking about the lotions and OH's back - I'm keeping them just for me!

Mrs P: Good luck with your boot sale. I have 2 massive leather armchairs to put on ebay. Will try and get that done tonight. Hopefully we can sell them for a bit and this will help me pay off my debts. Both OH and I are skint en ce moment, so we will be staying in again tonight. Bliss!!!

Finish at 4pm today so might be able to sit out in the sun for a bit. It's been quite warm here this week - much better than the snow in Feb!

Hope you've sorted out your mother's day gifts!

Just checked my balances on Lloyds Online. They say I can have a loan over 5 years - it's ready for me to just say the word.

They want to charge me a whopping 9.9%. Exceuse me! I thought that the base rate was 0.5% at the moment.

Even !!!!!! Turpin wore a black mask!!!

Hi strumpet - for Mum's day I'm being taken to a lovely Chinese restaurant - they do an all you can eat buffet:j Bang goes that diet again.:D

In the morning we're doing the boot fair (hoping to earn enough to pay for the lunch):rotfl:

DH asked me to buy a Mum's day card for his Mum - which I did:D Left it on the kitchen table and the other night he couldn't find it. next day I questioned DS, who said he had taken it and signed it for me as he thought DH had bought it for him to sign):rotfl: :rotfl: I then had to get another one on the way home from work, sign it and post it. DH is quite worried as I said I had forged his signature rather than just written his name:D

So not only did I pay for my own Mum's day card I also picked it as well:rolleyes:
