Our weather is up and down - one minute it's blowing a gale and raining hard, next minute glorious sunshine and no clouds. Wish it would make up its mind.
I have to go and ring a peal tonight - wish I'd said no! It's in Manchester too so I have to drive there, ring and then drive 30 miles back. Just not in the mood and besides which, OH is not very well and I want to go home and cook him a nice warming meal to make him feel better, not be stuck up some stupid belfry getting bored and cold.
Grumble grumble
Your weather is the same as mine.
As for your belfry wear thermals - anyway think of the money.:D I am sure that OH will be able to make himself some soup to tide him over til you get home (its what we women have to do..we have to cook, clean etc and still have the flu, we have to do everything:p )0 -
I don't want to rub it in but... we've had lovely sunshine today (although I have been stuck in the office).
Enjoy your bell-ringing Strumpet - it probably won't be so bad once you get there.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Wise words Mrs P - you were right. Once I got started, I actually enjoyed it. I was in charge last night, and it was the extra responsibility that was getting me down as I never felt up to it. Anyway, It wasn't that bad in the end.
Have to go grocery shopping tonight. The fridge currently contains 4 carrots and a half a tub of Benecol. I am pleased as this week, we have not thrown any food away apart from a packet of bacon which had become hidden at the back of the fridge and gone out of date before we found it!!!
It's a lovely day in Blackburn today although a little cold. I have not brought any lunch so I may go to the supermarket at lunchtime. I have promised myself a blast on the sunbed this lunchtime to cheer myself up. I always feel better after a quick grilling!
