Hi Strumpet - congratulations on your SW consultancy appointment!

How do you fancy having me as an "online" client? Think carefully before you say anything - because you will certainly have your work cut out!:D

Sorry things are not going so well at work, new software is always a bit of a nightmare.

Strumps - well done on the SW Consultancy job..more money in the kitty. Good news about the lodger too. As for BT and your BB - I did offer to make the appointment for you:naughty:..sigh.

New software always causes problems but you can fix it:D

Am back from my hols - the weather was pretty good except for Friday when it lashed down all day, it was the company that was the problem but I did meet a chap at the airport and we spent the night together:eek: - well we did, each of us sitting on a massage chair trying to sleep but giving up and chatting to each other for the whole night, going through security together, eating breakfast together, shopping together and then swapping details before we went to our respective gates to board our planes - him to Corfu, me to Alicante (our gates were next to each other:j). Did lots of walking, lazing on the beach, eating (drank lots of fanta limon, ate chicken, salad, beef burgers and yet more salad, lasagne and salad - ate lunch out once the rest of the time we cooked at 'home'. Spent my hol wishing I was in Corfu:rotfl:

OOh Horace - a new romance!!!

Well it's SW again tonight - gosh the weeks fly by1 Hope I've lost this week cos last week was a disaster. However, my brother was 21 last week and we had a party at the weekend where there was too much cake on offer. Enough said.

Currently eating a cantaloupe melon hoping it will magic the pounds off before 5:30pm!

    Fat (no pun intended) chance!

Ps Had Octopus for tea last night - very tasty and a snip at only £2.11 for the whole thing !!!!

Hi all - this brazen hussy went to the airport yesterday to meet Steve off the plane (he came back with his mum:eek:), he was pleased to see me standing there clutching a bottle of Crema de Catalina (like Baileys only much much nicer) as I knew that he would like it. His mum is nice too and has a sense of humour and didnt mind that I made them miss the bus back to the longstay carpark in Coleshill. He even showed me a picture of his step daughter and he didnt have to do that (she is 22) and he is a widower before any of you get any ideas:p Watch this space..something is going to happen I can feel it.:D He was well chuffed that I had taken time out to meet him and apparently he had told his mum all about me too:eek: Now I am not normally so brazen - I am quite shy really (now Strumps..don't choke on your melon).

I went to a different breakfast networking meeting today and had great fun - I joined too and got an annual passport membership and got 13 months for the price of 12. I felt like a lemon standing there giving my spiel so I was given a template to follow for next time as well as being offered a free hypnotherapy session which I am having on Friday:cool:

I had a full english breakfast too as I decided that it was probably better for me than a bunch of sticky muffins. I drove there but got lost trying to get out of the great park (too many islands all looking the same and no landmarks) so on 3rd Nov when I go again I shall get up early and walk..its about a mile and a half.

Horace - that's fantastic news - lets hope he treats you right. I married a widower just over 15 years ago and we're still going strong.:j:j:j

Well done Strumps...your stone has found its way onto my hips:eek:

Not much to report today other than a trip to the eye hospital and being kept waiting due to a jobsworth receptionist:mad: It was so bad that my consultant asked me to make a complaint. Anyway good news on the eye front pressures are equal at 8 for both eyes, I no longer have to take the dilating drop in my left eye and I don't need to go back for another 3 months and then if everything stays stable then my appointments will be 4monthly instead:j

Best do some work I suppose although I don't feel like it...my head is full of day dreams:rotfl:

What a week I'm having and it's only Monday lunchtime. Need a lie down with a damp flannel across my temples. Roll on Friday!
