15% is what has been agreed..it suits me and them and is entirely fair:cool: guess you could say I am now a rock manager:cool:

Stay indoors Strumps..its going to be wet n windy:eek: I am staying in..I have a ton of tidying up to do as a photographer is coming round on Monday:eek::eek:

Made some chicken soup tonight..it tastes a bit watery though despite being cooked for an age..still its free so what am I complaining about? Maybe I shall lob in some spuds tomorrow to thicken it a bit.

Glad you're feeling a little better today..onwards and upwards..and you're still my favourite man. You are like a brother and sister rolled into one:D

Hi Strumpet - hope you're OK and had a good weekend.

Weather today is unbelievable after Friday and Saturday! We have spent time in B&Q spending a small fortune on paint and decorating bits and bobs. DH is decorating DS' bedroom and also our spare computer/hobby room. Its a lot of upheaval but will be worth it in the end.

Horace - you say all the right things!!!

I was watching the BBC 10 o'clock news last night about the floods in Cumbria when suddenly a rain soaked reporter appeared....and my mum's house was in the background!!!!
Fortunately the river is still in the river and not on the streets but it looked bad!!! I'm going to Kendal tonight so I shall report back.

SW is going great - I am currently at 13st 8lb which has stalled a bit but been very stressed recently. As for the Consultancy thing - I parted with my money this week so it's all up and running. I start on Jan 6th but have to do a wealth of promo stuff between Christmas and New Year, not to mention buckets of training days at Head Office. looking forward to it though.

That's all for now - off to put my wellies on!!!

I hope your mum is ok Strumps..the weather up there has been appalling..I was watching it on the BBC News Channel earlier and saw Gordon Brown making soothing noises to the residents.

Well done on the SW too.

I learnt something yesterday - I was looking at Cadbury's website as I wanted to know who to contact with regard to them sponsoring this huge event that I am organising, me being the curious person that I am sat and read all their FAQs. Although Cadbury's don't make fat free chocolate - their Fry's Turkish Delight Bars are 92% fat free:cool:
  • Hi Strumps - hope your Mum is OK.

Well done on the SW. January has surely got to be the best time to start up in the weight loss business.

Horace- its a shame, but I don't like Turkish delight.

    Hi All,

Mega sorries for not being on here for ages but things are happening apace.

I am leaving my current employment at Christmas to pursue my SW career and other temp work. I am glad to be leaving the stresses of it all behind and very relieved and excited to be starting a new venture as my own boss.

There's a lot to do but I am well on with things. 2009 was a dreadful year for me so I'm hoping that 2010 will start well and end even better.

I hope to be able to post on here more often from now on as I'll be working from home a lot too. I've neglected you all a bit in the last 5 months but things should improve from the New Year.

Speak soon and hope you're all well.

    Strumpet.

PS I have lost 1st 5½lb now and only 2lb from target!!!!!!

Good for you Strumps..now the only draw back is that you have to get rid of that nice car as if I remember rightly its a company car:eek: Was getting to the stage where I was going to call or text to see if you were ok as I was starting to get worried. 2009 has been a pi$$ poor year - especially this last week for me..nearly rolled my car on Thursday, I was on an extremely steep hill and got myself into the wrong gear and it was too steep to do a hill start and then some nit decided that it would be great to drive past me on this extremely narrow road hence me reversing up the bank and nearly going over:eek::mad: then I bunged some washing in the machine on Friday and then went to put it onto spin so that I could dry it in the house and noticed that the red call for service light was on so I pressed the start button and machine started filling with water making a god awful noise - so the engineer is coming out tomorrow. Was without tv from 4pm Wednesday afternoon until 7pm Thursday night - thanks to a signalling fault which affected London, SW London and the whole of the Midlands. To top it off the power went off on Thursday night at 22.10 and was off until 4.10pm on Friday due to an underground cabling fault..I had a freezer full of stuff but I just kept the door shut and have eaten food from it since without any ill effects. I had more washing to do so have now developed washer woman's hands after doing my washing in the sink and drip drying it in the lounge (over a bin liner) and over the shower rail.
