Hi strumpet - hope everything is going OK.

I'm afraid I've decided to deal with my weight loss (or not:D) in a month or two. I really can't stick to any sort of diet at the moment.

I'm concentrating on trying to sort out my money. DH is going to start one of his pensions - he gets a lump sum plus some money each month. Its a relief as it will pay off our CCs and give us some left over. We are determined now to get ourselves sorted out money-wise - after all DH and I are not spring chickens any more. Once the dreaded CCs are off my back and I've re-done my SOA I'm hoping that I'll have an incentive to finally shift a few lbs (because I certainly won't be shifting any more £'s :j:j)

Horace - you sound like you have been really busy. Has your business taken off now?

    How are your eyes?

Have a lovely, lovely holiday - at least you will get plenty of sun and rest.

MrsP...I am still racing around like a blue bottomed fly, I feel like a hamster on a wheel spinning around and getting nowhere fast:rolleyes: - my business isnt going anywhere at the moment and its not for want of trying:rolleyes: I am going to try a new tack with my website and remove all prices and say that I will quote a fixed price but not say what that price is.

My eyes are ok - I am due back in clinic on 21 Oct when hopefully I will be able to get rid of the dilating drop at long ruddy last:rolleyes:

I will definitely need a bit of sun but somehow I don't think that I will be getting a rest..I shall be dragged around Alicante and not by bus either:rolleyes:

Was busy today and also a tad disappointed in that the venue that I went to visit never even offered me a sip of water..I was 10 mins late due to their not answering the phone and when they did answer giving me dodgy directions:rolleyes: I found a different route home via Tetbury and Cirencester.

On the food front - I am scoffing grapes like they are going out of fashion, I have switched to eating rye bread (I love it spread with greengage jam), also eating cheapo sirloin steak from Tesco (5 steaks on the whoopsie shelf - unit cost £1.12 - that's what I worked it out to), 1 inside me now and 4 in the freezer.

Gosh! What a lot of news to catch up on.

Well, lots has been happening here too - I have an interview next Monday to become a Slimming World Consultant - watch this space!!!

SW tonight and I've been bad again - seem to have lost all impetus. Need to get it back though if I'm going to running my own group - can't have a non-practice what I preach scenario! LOL

Will let you know how I get on. Sorry I can't post with the same regularity I once could.

Fingers crossed for the interview to become a slimming world consultant...no you have to practice what you preach..so no cheating:D

We understand why you can't post with the same regularity - its down to your bosses who seem, if I may say, live in the dark ages and hold grudges for ages:rolleyes:

Fell in love today with a barn made of wood - its a replica worcestershire barn made of oak and I amazed the owner by wanting to touch the wood - guess I must be wierd but wherever there is wood - I have to touch it (maybe its a pagan thing I don't know:confused:).

Busy week this week...am out every single day - what a dirty stop out I am:rotfl:

Oh, I have been asked to write a proposal for a local hotel with regard to organisng wedding fairs there:cool:

Guess who lost 3lb this week? I am now at 13st 8lb, the lightest I have been for about 10 years! Only 8lb to go now and if I lose ½lb next week I shall have achieved my 1 stone award! Hence, I am going to make a special effort to follow the plan and shift this weight once and for all - then I can start being a consultant at my target weight!!! Assuming I get through the interview!

Then I just need to find the Franchise fee from somewhere!!!

Work has calmed down a lot and I have reinvented the job for myself and have become totally organised. I am seriously enjoying it all again which is brilliant, as I was desparately unhappy 2 months ago. Not anymore though. All seems to be going forwards again!

Good luck with your week H - you'll need a rest after this!

    Hi guys,

Sorry for not posting for ages - hope you are all well!

Super news that I need to tell you all about - I have been accepted as a Slimming World Consultant. I had the interview on Monday and got told yesterday that I had been successful. I will be taking over a group not far from work (the group i joined originally) and so this will be an opportunity to have a new challenge in my life and also to earn a few more pennies.

Lodger has said he will be with me well into the new year so that's a bit of financial security too!

Work is OK but there are a few changes going on which are a litlle unsettling one of which is a new accountancy software implementation - more on this later.

Hope you are all OK - BT still not been to sort out my BB but that is down to me being disorganised with arranging for them to come and do it!

    Speak soon
