Strumpet - I'm so glad you are back.
(I'm going through a tough time at work as well - feeling very under-valued and under-paid)
Well done on your weight loss! Good luck for tonight although I am sure you won't need it.
I will weigh myself on Monday! I have been a very naughty girl and have gone and fallen off the wagon. However, I think  I now have the motivation I need - I have booked a weekend away in Bath in January with three girlfriends. we are planning to spend one of the days at the Thermae Spa - which means I will have to get my cozzie out  and even worse, show some bits of my body :eek: I can't hide my big stomach and fat back in a cozzie so it will mean some serious dieting. I have dug out the WW books again and have decided to put all on my diary on here. I am back at work on Friday this week after just over two weeks hols and I'm dreading it in some ways, but in others it will be good to be back in a routine.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi Everyone,
Strumps - Glad you are back and ok. Well done with the weight loss. I am sure you will be fine tonight. Wish I could do better. Sorry to hear about work. It can get you down sometimes, and you do feel undervalued. Well done with your own office though, I would love my own. Have a nice holiday.
Horace - Glad you have your new glasses now. So what are the chances that the neighbours will give you a jump start.
Hope work picks up for you soon.
Mrs P - The thermae Spa sounds good. I am sure you will be fine, we all have set backs, my problem is wine, I love it, and chinese and chips and........................ :rotfl::rotfl:
Take care everybody

Fritter - I have two hopes with my neighbours - bob hope and no hope - i have already asked and they have refused, the girls upstairs have the same problem their car hasnt shifted for months and anyway they would refuse especially after one of them was moaning one day that a tyre was flat and she didnt know how to change it, so I helped and then she started giving me instructions (this is the nastier one of the two, who never normally speaks and looks at you as though you are a huge dog turd:mad:), she did the wrong thing telling me how to the put the tyre on so I took off the new tyre and replaced it with the old one and told her to do it herself and to beware because I had only tightened the wheelnuts by hand and therefore they would need doing properly and I left the stupid mare to it:rotfl: Apparently she didnt want to get her hands dirty in case she broke her dainty false nails. In fact her girlfriend (the nicer one of the two, who always speaks and will help carry the shopping in for me and will put my stray post on my doormat) congratulated me because she had seen it all from the kitchen window and thought that her girlfriend needed bringing down a peg or two:rotfl:
Well done on the weightloss - you will be fine tonight Strumps, Fritter and MrsP.:D0 -

Lost 1lb last night so down to 13st 9lb having lost 12½lbs altogether. Not weighing in next week as on holiday but set a mini target for 2 weeks time of at least 1½lbs so I can get my stone award.
Red day today - just ate an entire chicken! What a greedy boy!!!

Well done on the weight loss. You have done so well. I hope you enjoy your break - are you going away?Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Dh has decided he needs to lose weight as well so we have decided to do it together. We will weigh ourselves on Saturday morning. HOpefully we will be able to inspire each other and we won't have our "suppers" at night (this is what is doing the damage).
Perhaps when you get back from your hollies we can swap our food diaries again - you are a real inspiration.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Well done on the weighloss Strumps - as for eating a whole chicken - as long as you didnt eat the skin then that's ok.
Last night's dinner was two jacket spuds with salt n pepper and this stuff that passes itself off as butter (not Clover but that utterly nonsense stuff). Dinner tonight will be the same:D If I can be bothered to open a can of baked beans then I will have them too but I doubt that I will do that. Afters will be a nectarine.
I was naughty today and bought some choc (eaten) and some rich tea biscuits but I am going to limit these to 4 a day (not 4 all at once:eek:).
I am glad that I have made you laugh Strumps - its what you need:D
Well off to watch Trust Me I'm A Dealer.

Yes Mrs P, I am heading down your way but not into Cornwall - the nearest I get will be Ilfracombe. Then onto the MS Oldeburg for the trip to Lundy Island. I am guessing it will be rough so I'm hoping I will not be ill like I was last time!
When I come back, and once BT have fixed my internet connection, I'd love to share ideas with you and hubby. With him on board, you'll be well plced to really give it a go!
Horace - I did not eat any of the skin although it was tempting. Make sure you don't let one rich tea biscuit tempt you into eating the whole packet!!!
4 hours of work left and then holiday mode. Haven't had too good a morning - felt a bit ostracised as lots of whislering in doorways and closed offices. Trying not to let it get me down.
Have fun - see you next week!!!

Chicken skin is divine and I love it but rarely eat it and if him from darn sarf visits then I only need to turn my back and the crispy skin has been whipped off the chicken and shovelled down his neck:rolleyes: Its not pleasant and I find this constant shovelling and gobbling of food to be rather offputting and extremely unattractive:rolleyes:
4 rich teas - uhm it is hard and I have strayed off the path but I havent eaten the whole packet yet:j
Let them get on with their whispering in doorways Strumps - obviously they haven't got any work to do and must lead very sad little lives if all they can talk about is you. I know that you're an interesting chap and all that but I sure would get bored talking about you 24/7:eek:
Strumps - the way to deal with seasickness is to eat - if you don't eat then you dry retch which isnt good but if you eat then you have something to be sick with and will feel a lot better. The place to be when you are feeling ill isnt down below deck either, you need to be on deck so that you can see the horizon. Seasickness tablets will only make you feel worse - so get some seabands (I think that's what they are called), you wear them on your wrists as they have a little button on them that presses on your acupressure points and stops you from feeling a bit green around the gills:D
Hope you have lovely hollibobs:D0
