Still no sign of strumps - I wonder if he has eloped with the hunky gym instructor:eek: Guess I had better call him (Strumps, not the gym instructor) to see if he's ok:D
  • Hi Horace,

How is strumps, he has not been on for ages. I remember you said you were going to give him a call.

Well fellow Strumps groupies - I have made contact with the elusive chap and he has told me that he is ok and looking forward to his holiday next week. It seems there have been changes at work so internet access is restricted to lunchtimes and that there are internet problems at home so he hasn't been able to access the internet from there either. Strumps you need to put more than a brass washer in the meter if you want it to work:rotfl:

Seriously, we are glad you are ok - we were getting worried that something had happened to you.

    Love

I am pleased to announce that I went to the doctors today (no I am not pregnant before anybody asks) but I did find out that sometime between last month and this I managed to shift 2lbs and now weigh 12 stone 3lbs, according to nursey I should be about 11 stone so I said that I would be happier at 10 or 10.5:D

Still no glasses although now they have been promised for tomorrow - I am not a happy bunny:rolleyes:

    Enjoy your hollibobs Strumps:D

    Hello All,

Well I'm back from my hols - Strumps hope you have a good time on your hols.

Horace - have you bought a Mini Clubman yet?

I haven't weighed myself yet - will wait for a week and then do so - far too many Welsh cakes and Bara Brith.

Over-spent by at least £100 on hols - never mind it could have been a lot worse and probably would have been if I hadn't set myself a budget. Unfortunately back to bills! But I guess that's life.

  • Hi everyone,

Sorry for not being in contact sooner, but there have been a few changes at work with regard to interent access. We got told that we were abusing the permissive system and to be honest, we were to some extent - I mean, although I wasn't on all day, I did bob in from time to time and post when I should have been a bit more disciplined. Ushot is that we all got a roasting and we are limited to lunchtimes and before and after work for personal internet time.

There were a few other changes, including me getting my own office which is brilliant because I can shut the door and not be distrubed when I have complicated stuff to do!

I was a bit down over the talking to that I git and was at odds and in turmoil for a week which is why I never posted - just not in the mood to be sociable - sorry guys - I should have kept the faith a litlle more. Horace texted me to see if I was OK.

Had a big chat with boss and mulled over a few things and I'm back on track. Sometimes I think I'm over XOH but then it creeps up on me when I am tired. Then I get sad and feel a bit dejected. As a result, I am self medicating with the testosterone and have increased my dosage for a while to perk me up. I get very moody and lack confidence if I forget to take it or don't take enough.

Feeling much better now though and especially as whilst I have been incommunicado, I have lost more weight and now stand at 11lb lost. I have gone from 14st 7½lb to 13st 10lb although I may well have put on this week as I went to a party at the weekend and got very drunk!!!

I go to Lundy Island on Friday until Wednesday of next week so will not post between those days.

I have to really start watching the pennies now as lodger may well be moving out very soon. I shall have to go online and find myself another.

Until then - keep cool and thanks for all your messages.

SW weigh in tonight - YIPPEE!!! (I think!)

    Whoopie Strumps is back:D

Hey, you know if you're feeling dejected you can always ring me for a chat - I will always cheer you up:D

BTW - we have both been added to the September NSD challenge for 8 days again (it seems that we have a standing order:rotfl:).

I now have new glasses:j seeing again is a complete revelation although I need to start driving again and my battery is flat and needs to be charged so I need to drive it for an hour - if only my miserable neighbours would give me a jump start:rolleyes:

Hopefully work will pick up soon as I have a wedding fair to attend on 27 September, I shall be going on my own as my chums have cried off so I must remember not to drink anything as I cannot leave my stand to tend to my abolutions:eek: I am sort of looking forward to it but also think that it will be seedy as they have managed to persuade a couple to get married at the venue at the same time as the wedding fair - its too tacky for me:rolleyes:

Weather here is odd today - it was warm and gloomy, then we had some heavy rain and thunder and then whilst it was thundering and raining the sun came out...very odd indeed.

No MrsP - I havent bought a clubman - they're too expensive and so is the roadtax - I can buy a 5 door Yaris for less than the cost of a clubman that will have £35 roadtax. I have decided to save my money for another 12 months. Glad you had a good holiday despite stuffing yourself with welsh cakes.

No holiday for me - all I have done is work and get paperwork ready for the wedding fair etc.

Sorry to hear that your lodger may be moving on - hope you've taught him how to cook and clean?:rotfl:

    Enjoy your hollibobs Strumps xx
