Fingers crossed for your sister today Strumps - I hope it goes well and that you have another niece or nephew to spoil.
I have been sending stuff to my accountant today so that I can submit this silly form to the council:rolleyes: I have turned into the neighbour from hell too - my car hasnt moved for ages and today the battery died meaning that my alarm goes off, I cannot disconnect the battery or the alarm - in fact I cannot do anything, a quick call to Leo and he is coming up from London tomorrow to jump start it and take it for a spin - well, I can't drive the thing even if I did get it started today:rolleyes: I will have to get some roadside recovery when I can afford it.
I printed off a sample menu from slimming world today and have looked at the locations of various clubs near me - I can go on a Tuesday night to Northfield (I can even walk there - the place itself is about 2 miles from me) and the other one is over at West Heath which is a bit more awkward but i could probably walk there too - that I am guessing is about 3 miles from me as its a twisty route - not a direct one.
Hope you have a great weekend Uncle Strumps:D0 -

Well, I am now an uncle for the second time - Alasdair John, 5lb 8oz, born on Friday afternoon and he's absolutely gorgeous!
I had a good weekend in Worcester - spent Saturday afternoon at Martley Church Fete with Robin and Mark's mobile belfry. Yesterday, I was invited to a concert in a garage in Worcester where this guy has a Wurlitzer theatre organ all set up in his house / garage. It is identical to the organ in the Tower Ballroom at Blackpool and is huge. A chap from Brighton played songs from yesteryear, including Gilbert & Sullivan and Rogers and Hammerstein. It was high camp all the way and I loved every minute of it!
Hope your weekend were similarly excellent.
Back to reality today though - rain and wind and a day in the office - nice!

Congratulations Uncle Strumps:D
Yesterday my ex turned up (he really can't tell the time- he said he would be here at 4pm - he turned up at 6:rolleyes:) I have learnt now that when he gives me a time then I should always add 2 hours. He had a roast dinner and then dared to moan that I hadn't given him enough food - I gave him a man-sized portion and not a greedy pig portion and then later I found him in the kitchen standing there scoffing the rest of the beef:mad:
He has gone out now - all excited and bushy tailed to go and do an inspection and sieze items, when he comes back he will charge the battery on my car and take me shopping - I haven't been near Tesco for 2 months:eek: I have loads of money off vouchers for things that I like to buy.
I bought a copy of Slimming World magazine too and noticed that they are looking for district managers (Strumps you should apply). I am now seriously considering joining (again will need to wait for new glasses before I venture out). From looking that the magazine it seems that they treat the whole person as opposed to just the fat bits - I can remember going to Rosemary Connolly a few times but that diet made me eat more - I would come out of there and think I could just eat a donut and so I did:eek:0 -
Congratulations Strumpet on becomming an Uncle again.
I love the sound of your weekend entertainment - you can't beat Gilbert and Sullivan and Rogers and Hammerstein - I would have been singing my heart out!Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Um Nutella would not be my lunch of choice (basically because of the nut bit!), but get you ex to take you somewhere nice and if he complains state calmly that seeing as he ate tonights tea as well as last nights then it is his own fault!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi all
Ex did not get back from his inspection until about 7pm and then I had to nag him to take me shopping. He charged the battery on my car and we took it for a spin, got home switched the engine off and then tried it again (of course it started) so off we went to Tesco. I took my trusty shopping list and but did visit the whoopsie shelf so got a few extra bits..he kept adding things to the trolley, I used my vouchers and saved £14.35 and he ended up paying for the shopping to the tune of £56 and some pence.
4 mullerlite yoghurts (including 2 limited edition blackberry & raspberry) BOGOF
1 large piece of rumpsteak for £3.78, 6 carrots for 11p, a bag of apples 52p, a loaf of bread 25p, I bought healthy stuff and he bought rubbish:rolleyes: He tried to get me to buy the steak with a huge rim of fat but I said that I didnt want fat as I was going to cut the meat up into chunks and slow cook it with carrots, a tin of tomatoes, a handful of pearl barley, some chopped onion and a tin of guiness (well the black stuff was bought for him and he has never bothered with it - so I cook with it instead:D). I had to wash up after him this morning as he had sliced a huge bag of mushrooms (I am allergic to the things) and cooked them with black pepper and milk  I was left with a bowl containing brown scum and things that looked like dead slugs and the smell was horrendous. My freezer seems to be full of strange food too - 3 chillis, half a cheesecake, some chicken jalfrezi and sweet n sour chicken (this isnt my food as I refuse to eat such stuff).0 -
Horace - you make me howl with laughter at our antics!
SW in about 45 minutes and I've been quite bad over the weekend so if I've maintained, I'll be more than happy.
Must go for a wee to get another ½lb off!!!
