    Hi guys,

Unusual for me to post on here at weekends but here I am anyway!

I have done loads of chores today and I am knackered! I cleaned the bathroom, did two washes, aired the rooms and cooked a roast dinner for me and lodger.
I also went shopping and got lots of bargains.

In line with Lemon Tree's idea, I am saving the "savings" amounts that the supermarket receipt says I have saved by multibuying, two for ones, three for twos, BOGOFs etc. So far this month I have saved £7.97!!! Not decide what I am going to do with the money yet though!

It has started raining so the towels will have to dry on the airer instead of
outside. Lodger has done all the washing up except for the roasting tin which requires assistance from Mr Muscle before it is ready to be cleaned. Tomorrow's salmon and prawns are defrosting. Speaking fo that, I defrosted my freezer on Friday and it does not need replacing just yet, I have discovered. So that is on a backburner for now. The main thing to sort in the near future is to get the bath mended so I can use it. I miss my baths!

    Blimey Strumps...you've been busy.

Yesterday I saw my first car, the very same...it was participating in the Mini Anniversary event which took place at Longbridge over the weekend. My beady little eyes espied it as it was waiting in a queue of traffic so I went and chatted to the owner who said that he had bought it from the scrap merchant - I had sold it to one person and it was they who scrapped it. It has since had a newer engine but there was Horace - still looking the same:cool: Now I want another one - a clubman estate:cool: The old minis are just fab - I did see one that had been converted into a campervan and another that had been cut down so that on the front seats remained:eek:

It was sunny over the weekend so I did some washing and put it on the line - it was dry yesterday but lazily I didnt do more washing.

Today, I have been sorting out my office and have got rid of two black sacks of crap - I want to move my desk you see so that I can fit some more shelves in:cool:

Who needs Mr Muscle when you can use Stardrops? Freezers work a lot better when you defrost them too - maybe your savings can go into the freezer pot and the money your mum gave you can go on the bath.

SW weigh in this evening and I don't feel like I've done very well this week. Been a bit lethargic when it has come to the planning and stuff. It's quite difficult to maintain the momentum all the time.

We'll see how I've done in about 6½ hours time.

Getting my car serviced today - had a puncture yesterday on way in to work so they can fix that too.

Hello Strumpet - just popped in to wish you all the best for tonight. You can keep going with your weight loss efforts, you have done so well so far. Just keep on thinking of how you feel when you stand on those scales and you have lost weight.

I'm off work today and just having my favourite lunch of beans on toast. Tonight we are having a bbq as weather is nice and salad so I am within my points today. I was terrible over the weekend though (as usual).

    Thanks Mrs P.

On Saturday night, I ventured out into Manchester by myself to see what I could see. Not done that for ages and it was a bit scary. However, I got talking to a gorgeous hunky gym instructor who works on a cruise ship and he said that it wouldn't take much for me to get into shape and that he thought my 8lb weight loss had made a serious difference to my shape and confidence.

    I was over the moon.

Ohh Strumps you do meet the most interesting people - your hunky gym instructor hasn't got any jobs going on the cruise ship has he? It always sounds so glamourous - and I think DH and DS would be glad to be rid of me for a while.

It just goes to show though what a weight loss can do for you. When faced with temptation just think about those lovely comments!
