This will give you all a laugh - I am going to change my weigh day from Monday morning to Friday morning:rotfl::rotfl:I don't think it will make much difference, because it shouldn't matter what day I weigh but psycologically it might just help me to get myself in order (and save the pain of slapped legs).

Who cares - if it works for you Mrs P then it's a good choice!!!
My weigh in is Tuesday at the moment and I might fail tomorrow but ahving said that, my personal scales say I'm still losing so make of that what you will.

Certainly losing today as I just bought a bag of salad and some tuna, prepared it all and then poured over some English Provender Company Fat Free Dressing.

The dressing was minging so the whole lot went in the bin and I'm having to make do with a banana!

Good news though - Coke Zero is FREE on both Red and Green AND is currently on 16 cans for £4 in ASDA and Morrisons!!! Stiock up now!!!

Now why didnt I think of saying that?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Strumps what's that dressing like that I gave you? If you want fat free dressing just use a squirt of lemon juice instead as the fat free stuff you buy tastes awful as you have found out:rolleyes:

My new chair arrived at 12.30pm and I love it, plus my back no longer hurts and I can whizz around on it:rotfl:

My meeting tomorrow has cancelled as the lady has to see her gp so I am hoping for a mystery shop before I go to the eye hospital at 2pm for some new specs (yet more bloomin' expense) - I am in desperate need as I am housebound without them and I have venues to visit:rolleyes:

Forgot to mention that both you and I have been signed up automatically for the Austere August NSD challenge.

I used that on my FaceBook page as my status - something like...

Simon is paying £20 for a man to come round and trim his bush so the postman can get past it more easily!

    You can imagine the comments!!!

    Horace:

I haven't used your dressing yet - I'm saving it for a special occasion because it looks classy.

SW weigh in tonight folks - wish me luck.

I have been filling out a cashflow budget spreadsheet thing for July and will shortly be able to report on the finances for the month - this is a DFW site after all. I had a good month in July thanks to extra income from singing and stuff so I think I did quite well. Will report when the final figures are in.

You mind you don't do yourself a mischief on that chair Horace - all that whizzing around!!!

Strumps you will have to add me on facebook:D You can even join my group:D

I bet you got all sorts of ribald comments about your remark about your bush and the postman:rotfl:

Just use the dressing Strumps - treat your lunch as a special occasion:cool:

I have booked a mystery shop for tomorrow as I have a meeting in the morning and see my useless solicitor in the afternoon and I needed something to do in the middle - so its lunch for me in exchange for £10 (it will probably cost me £7 for lunch too:rolleyes:).

My chair is lovely - no more bad backs and I bought the best I could afford which is rated so that it can be sat on all day:D

Need to think now of what to have for dinner tonight - the freezer is getting barer by the day..I guess I could take out that massivejoint of beef and cook it and then slice it and freeze it:rolleyes:

    Hi All,

Strumpet - best of luck for tonight.

For the first time in a couple of weeks I have written down what I have eaten/will eat today and have calculated the WW points rather than just guessing. If I can manage to stick to it for one day it will give me the boost I need to carry on.

Horace - glad you are not disappointed with your chair.

You could cook your joint and have a roast dinner tonight, then you could mince it (or chop it up small), make a couple of cottages pies to freeze, or some bolognaise sauce to freeze which can then be used on a jacket potato, with pasta or to top a pizza base.

    That's good Mrs P!
An Eating diary is the key. And you need to be really honest - if it passes the lips, it goes down on the diary. you'll soon see where you can tighten up. I listed all the cakes I ate last Sunday - frightening but at least when I put on 4 stone tonight, I'll know where it came from!!!

    Strumps

Ps Might take a day off tomroow - I'm seriously fed up with my job and might be looking elsewhere if things don't improve - feel like I don't want to bother any more!

Not long back from the eye hospital - 5 buses I have been on today:mad: We got kicked off one because he claimed that he had to go back:rolleyes:

Thanks to getting WTC - I managed to get £80.60 off a new pair of glasses so I am having another pair made with matching frames to the frames I have then when they are fixed then I will take my old pair in and get a new lens fitted so that I have a spare set:D

No lunch today - bag of crisps and two mini toblerones:eek:

Good luck for your weigh in Strumps.
