Huge white deodorant marks on my tops!

Options
I have found a few tops at the bottom of the ironing pile (they havn't seen light of day for a VERY long time!) they have been left there as they have all got old deodorant marks across them. The marks are dried in and won't shift. I have searched the index and didn't find anything that mentioned these kind of marks but do excuse me if i'm just being blind (or blonde). So any ideas how to remove these marks? Thanks if anyone can help me as I don't want to throw them away!

I find that soaking stuff in a "vanish" solution for a couple of hours shifts almost anything.

Hi! ive started using a 'cream' style deodrant, but its leaving weird stains under the arms of my (mostly) black t shirts... any ideas how to get it out,as washing them in normal washing powder seems to be making them worse! thanks... vikxx

i've found a damp towel rubs most of the marks off....
and i've now bought a dove deoderant that claims not to leave any marks... it seems to do what it promises!

oooo... i forgot to mention... its not the usual 'zebra stripes' that you get when you pull a black top on at the start of the day... the problem is at the end of the day... there seems to be a white stain which i think must be a mixture of sweat and deoderant (nice!) which just wont shift! any ideas? xx

I would love to know too! I have T-Shirts to treat! (not as expensive as V Westwood but it's still money! ;):D )

I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...

I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!
  • Me too! (also NOT designer!)

    Any ideas?
