I have a question. How is the best way to remove - hope you dont find this gross but yellow sweat patch marks from shirts and blouses. I have tried vanish and vinegar but it doesnt remove it.
Any suggestions?

You need to use Ariel bio powder. It's the biological formula (enzymes like Alkalase) that deals with the enzymatic stains like sweat. I used to evaluate the performance of laundry products in an R&D lab. Nothing was better at stain removal than Ariel bio powder.;)10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Will keep that in mind Nile...
I once visted the Procter & Gamble R&D in belgium. I thought it was hilariuos to see the rows of washing machine running continuously. Is that the kind of place you worked at?
Must be a treat to get home and do your own laundry or are you allowed to bring it to work!!!I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -

It was quite similar but not on such a big scale. Unfortunately I learned that you get what you pay for with laundry products.........Ariel bio is the best for stains and Persil is best for whites......it's only money saving if you want your garments to last for years and you're not a fashion victim who has to wear the latest season gear.
On another subject (what an interesting life I've led:rolleyes: ) I used to look after a row of computer controlled flushing toilets (I kid you not)..........and plunge my hand into each toilet bowl to sample the water for chlorine level.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Do you want the stains to be removed? If you're not bothered, go for an old style method.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -

reminds me of visiting the Science Museum with the kids and in the "home science" area they have the whole complement of toilet evolution... with one toilet cut in half so you can observe how a beautiful plastic brown object is recycled in front of your very eyes. Kids thought it was just brilliant.
Sorry O/P, I have digressed a bit.
I don't have any tips on for your stains...I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -
sorry for this rather unpleasant post. After wearing/washing a garment for say ten occasions i find that after washing and drying when i wear it agaion, as soon as the material gets damp there is a very strong small of BO. It is definately coming from the material and not my body! Its like the bacteria/sweat/antiperspirants is locked into the material and is not being washed out by the detergent.
Any tips from removing this stain from the clothes? it tends to be on tops which are 100% cotton, or 95% cotton 5% lycra..it is horrible and i am having to throw away perfectly good tops....

Sometimes this can also be caused by the left over water in your washing machine being nasty so perhaps you might like to check that too.

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Both our boys' school shirts were like this. First of all I would change your deodrant. I made them use roll-ons, they were using sprays. Soaking the shirts in water with bi-carb overnight before washing helped as well. Also when I iron I use water mixed with a few drops of EO to lightly mist clothes. I found Lemongrass EO very good.
