  • thanks people will try your suggestions. squeaky thanks for those threads. One post says:
    Bicarb and vinegar (again)

I use this instead of fabric softner; 2 parts vinegar, 2 parts bicarb, 4 parts water, 1 or 2 drops of essential oils.
I make it up in an old consentrated lenor bottle and use the cap as a measure to add the parts to make the mix and I use 1 cupful per wash.

Is bicarb a liquid? i thought it was powder? if powder how do you measure 'parts'? sorry maybe i am being dumb...

If you use a tablespoon to measure the ingredients then you would use 2tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp bicarb 4 tbsp water and 1 or 2 drops of EO, if you use a cup then substitute "tbsp" with "cup" :)

Bicarb is a powder, yes. Umm... :)

I'd be inclined to count that as two tablespoons for want of any other information, though many people just use a capful of vinegar on its own to good effect.

  • I have a new top and I wore it today, and it's been a hot one.
    So I have perspired.

It's a tight fitting strappy top with a built in bra. so it's all 'stained' under my breasts.

    It's 95% cotton 5% elastine.

What can I do to save it?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    GW

I don't seem to be able to get rid of the sweat stains on DH's shirts. Anyone have any ideas - I would be very grateful. ;)

Do you want the stains to be removed? If you're not bothered, go for an old style method.
Hi, I have the same problem on shirts, I usually have to use surcare as other products make me itch as I suffer from eczema, any ideas to avoid me washing twice - once in ariel bio and then again in surcare?
