I find that white marks left by deodorant on my clothes are where the deo has bleached the colour out ,rather than staining them :(

I have those on my black bras no matter how much I wash them even tho I apply deo and then wait ages b4 putting my bra on. I have even taken to hand washing them and attacking them with a stiff scrubbing brush but to no avail..

    Hi everyone!

It's not very old-style but I swear by Vanish Oxi-Action for stuff like that. You can soak it before washing and seems to work everytime!

If it's a sort of build up, unfortunately the only thing I've found that works is scraping it off the fabric. Soak it first (in vinegar perhaps) and use the back of a knife.

Thanks! I happen to have some Vanish at the moment - trying it for free through Bzz Agent so I will give that a go. Might combine it with scraping as well!

I am sure I read somewhere that soaking in a solution of soluble aspirin works.

Bane of my life, I use a roll on deodorant and find that doesn't do it in the first place , but my DD's use spray.

I use vanish spray on the underarms and collars, seems to do the job. Not perfect but passable.

    A bit of googling:

I am going to try baking soda tonight as vanish failed me!
