underarm stains

Options
Hi
Just washed my partner's new shirt - strange marks have appeared underarm. A large dark stain - he wears lynx body spray, but is not very sweaty. Any ideas on how to get rid of the marks? It's a brand new shirt from Next clearance shop at a bargain price of £5 - so annoying! I've got Vanish in the house. Any other tips?

The same thing happened to two of my purple tops when I used a new brand of deodorant. I wrote to the manufacturer and they sent me a £25 cheque.

I have the very same problem with sweat / deoderant stains on my OH shirts. I use white vinegar poured neat on to the stains and rubbed in before putting in the machine. Also, the 'Oxi' type washing products are also very good, just pre-treat before putting in your normal wash cycle in the machine. Either of these will eliminate both the stain and any odours.
