Cahoot log in problem....

Same here - the cahoot account was inaccessible "due to essential maintenance" over the weekend, and this evening it comes up with a blank screen and "General System Error" in the browser titlebar!
By contrast, I've been fairly pleased with my Alliance & Leicester (also Santander) account.0 -
The message on the Cahoot site, after going to the login page, now shows a "system error". No apology! This is after reading their blurb which boasts that the system is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year! I have written to the director and customer service but no reply of course. Their info seems to indicate that phone calls are charged at £1.50 per minute! What an arrogant shambolic bank.0

Yes - this is incredible behaviour -as a result of 2 days of inaccessibility and no reply to emails I have spent the money on a phone call to the famous 0844 (they have deactivated the geographic number on sites now) removed all monies from the savings account and will close my current account as soon as I can get in to do so!
To say a "short time" without any specifics is not good enough. I urge everyone to remove their money - it is the only way to get them to improve matters. This is in the same week I cancelled my new Santander Zero Credit card because it was impossible to get on line with it and phoning them is like the worst joke in phone looping software ever - and then just as I found a human after about 10 minutes the line crashed. In doing so I went through messages for Santander and Abbey, had to enter my details twice and was then asked for them again, and so on........
Santander need a BBC investigation for sure - C'mon MoneyBox!!0 -

I'm in the process of clearing out my A&L account right now - with a £10k daily cap it's taking a few days - and Cahoot will be going the same way as soon as I can sort out a suitable alternative.0 -
Well the cahoot login seems to be working now, albeit very slowly.
Oops, literally as I typed that line the window in which my account summary was displayed has gone to: Internal Server Error
Ho hum. I guess they're saving money on IT in order to fund the incredibly generous 0.5% rate they offer to savers.
Amusingly I did notice a link on my account page saying "click here if you want to close your account". Now all I have to do is get back in...0 -
This is madness. This day and age you would think they have a back up server or something technical to prevent this happening, what do HSBC do?
I have been with HSBC all my life and never had their website down.
I am trying to transfer funds to exchange for Lira before I fly out this week. Please god let this be sorted by tomorrow, I already lost my first flights with Kiss.
I never had an email saying the site would be down.
I sware if my DD dont go through they will have toi cover the costs.0 -

Glad it's not just me at least. Completely useless; it would take 5 minutes to produce something more informative to put on the site than the non-descript message there now, even if they couldn't fix the error.
Don't know why I've stayed with them really; laziness on my part, but this has inspired me to move my savings elsewhere at least!0 -
Is back online now!!!0

For me it gives a 'General System Error' when using IE8, but works OK when using Firefox.Stompa0
