    I've been Money Tipped!
Kaat Lady - I am so sorry to hear this bad news, how can anyone do this to an animal? Fingers crossed for Archie, I am sure the vet will know what to do.

Candygirl - the little I have had to do with staffies makes me think they are lovely dogs but I am sure the silly people that let their dogs behave so foolishly are the same who encourage their children to go up to strange dogs. Cause and effect seem to be lost on them.

I really must get on with that ironing :o

Kaat - so sorry about poor Archie; I do hope no-one has been horrid enough to try and poison him. Please keep us up to date.

Martyn - great to hear from you! Good luck with the interviews!

Is it me or is anyone else absolutely freezing to death today? I am so tempted to put the heating on but so far I've resisted. I cannot believe how cold it is; the strong winds must be coming from Siberia!

    Afternoon all.

Happy Birthday to ELONA and DONNY-GAL

ANNIESTAR, so sorry about little Phoebe. At least she had a peaceful journey to the Summerlands.

KAAT-LADY, fingers crossed for Archie. I think anyone who can do that to a defenceless animal should have the same done to them, and see how thay like it!

SILVERCHARMING good to hear that Dave's up and about.

Well, I'm not a happy puppy today. Monday night, Mr LW's printer packed up. Then later same night one of the controllers on the PlayStation2 died on us. Well, you know they say these things happen in 3's? I was going to set the video to record the Stargate film last night, and blow me down if the VCR didn't turn up its toes as well! I just hope that's the end of it - can't afford to replace every piece of electrical equipment in the house:angry:

Oh well, its one way of saving on the electricity.......

    Hello everyone .
I`m Ann`s husband and I`d like to thank you all for your kind words about Phoebe . I know far worse things happen in the world other than the death of a little cat but , on a personal level , it`s one of the saddest feelings possible . I am pleased that her passing was so peaceful ; I was holding her little head in my hand when she reached the final stage and it was impossible to tell when she actually slipped away . With the perspective of time I know we will be happy that she was with us when she went , rather than on a sterile vets table .
Today`s been really odd ; we don`t really know what to do with her. She`s currently curled up in her basket on our bed and if you didn`t know the truth you`d swear she was asleep . We still expect her to stretch and yawn as usual .
She was always quite a glamourous cat and we would like to place her somewhere to acknowledge this ( however , we doubt if Selfridge`s would agree to having part of their shopfloor used as her resting place - it would be appropriate though , she was that sort of cat) . At the moment we`re thinking of putting her in the garden where we can see her and perhaps mark it in some way to show what a fab little cat is there . I`m thinking of something sparkly and glittery which is not my taste at all but would be very fitting for this lovely little friend of ours .

Thanks for all your support and I hope you have happy times ahead.
    Take care ,
    Mark

Kaatlady - how awful - hope he recovers - how could someone be so mean
Mr Anniestar - how lovely to hear from you. All of here know what a special and loved friend Phoebe was and I'm sure some of our green fingered experts will be along to suggest something fitting for such a special lady.

Martyn - lovely to hear from you - life with the raggle taggle gipsy O seems to be suiting you - very very best wishes for the interviews.

Well I have had a very productive day so far .... I've sorted all my fantasy football teams out :o - just need to take the work one in tomorrow.
