JANNYANNIE Dad does have a hospice nurse visiting a few times a week, he is on the slow release morphine tabs twice a day, then topping up with morphine inbetween.I think he doesn't like taking it as it makes him so drowsy.He will have a pump later on apparently:o

evening Ive not been around much well I'm feeling much better today so went out ,Ive lost some weight so i needed some new trousers but my ds came to meet me to carry bags which was good
got a few bargains ,I'm sore now but it was good and shopping is my favorite thing
hugs to penny pincher ,smoky, beth , candy ,Anniestar,mrs mix and to all who need them
well i wrote a letter to my gastro consultant ,saying how i was feeling about things and putting him right on things he keeps saying wrong don't know if he will appreciate it but i felt better for it .

Sorry for anything else I've missed.

We had a lovely holiday, got back on sunday; not feeling very rested though as we were so busy! Got back to find my brocolli covered in caterpillars:mad:, so I've spent a fair bit of time trying to get rid of them, I'll go and look on the gardening board next. Also caught my cat eating my lettuces! :eek: No idea how to stop him. Got most of the washing done but none of the ironing :rolleyes: Not done a huge amount of housework due to gardening duty but OH has been fantastic and got loads done. Our other cat was sick yesterday, no idea why, but by the time i got home from work it was all cleaned up

Had free smoked mackerel for tea - home-smoked by OH's friend, delicious!

Anniestar and Mr Anniestar, sorry to hear about Phoebe. It's a sad day here too, as my friend's dad also died in the early hours of this morning, so hugs all round.

My OS ways are working - I pay my gas and electric by dd every month, and my electric bill always used to have a "carried forward" balance of £50-£60. Todays quarterly bill after my payments were taken off was £2.38. I have a 5 bedroom [strike]house[/strike] project, not decorated or updated since 1950 before we moved in, so I am pleased. The gas is also showing as being in credit. I doubt that will last!

Had to come back to thank everyone. Mark and I seem to be taking it in turns to be in tears and "strong"(yeah right) Anyway, thank you. Mark is so touched by your kindness and great ideas for our little angel. We are going to have a look at the Phoebe flower redreuby thank you. Also the rose idea.(elona Thank you )

back from the vets and she says it wasnt poison its him shutting down,,he doesnt have long to go ,,but she has rehydrated him amd given him anti b's and some other jab,, but does have much hope for him byt at least he is not suffering, just have to keep him warm and safe,,
