RedRuby – your mum is a very brave woman!!!!!! I go there to escape my girls & enjoy shopping on my own
.
Its not my mum  , she would not be able to cope, its the mum of the girl she slept over with last night xx
Chrisca, I will have a game with you at some point, you will have to let me know what to do though, perhaps when I get back from work later xx0 -
Hi everyone - late on here today because DH insisted I didn't get up as early as usual because I've been so tired lately; consequently, I'm behind with everything and grumpy with him! I don't think he'll suggest it again! I need time to wake up on my own - I can't just get out of bed and start making packed lunches without at least half an hour to drink two cups of tea!
Happy Birthday to Elona for today and Donny for Friday - have a great trip, Donny.
Well, I seem to suddenly be Kathy-with-some-mates on Facebook now! I must try and understand how to navigate my way around it and upload a photo.
The weather is dry and sunnyish at the moment but very windy and there are some menacing-looking clouds up there, too. I have some washing to do and I want to try the soap-nuts that arrived yesterday. They were a free sample (well, 75p postage) so I want to see how good they are. BM is on and I'm also going to make some rice pudding in the Remoska and then cook some left-over chicken pieces in it and then it will be on again for dinner when I shall roast potatoes to go with the stuffed marrow. Last night I cooked sausages, onions and potatoes in the Remoska which we had with baked beans and it was really tasty. We only needed four sausages so that's another cheap meal for my list. I'm trying to see just how much I can bring the food budget down and I find that cheaper cuts of meat like belly pork and breast of lamb turn out really well in the Remoska, so that has given me a lot more scope.
I have been dozing off all over the place lately which I know is due to the build-up to the wedding and having loads of guests over the weekend. It's taken a few days to get the house back to normal and get all the sheets and towels washed and dried. Still, I feel back in control of my world now!

Churchmouse - :hello: :hello: :hello:
DS2 and his new wife texted from Marbella yesterday - they were chillin' out poolside in temperatures of 35C! They had all these plans for the first week and I told them they would just zonk out after weeks and weeks of wedding-planning and they had to admit that I was right! They have hired a car and will do their sight-seeing next week but, for now, they are just taking it easy. He signs his texts off with Mr and Mrs..... I think he's very proud of being a married man! I shall text DS1 and his family later and see how they are getting on in France. It seems strange them both being out of the country at the same time and it also feels strange that they are both married men! My work is definitely done!
Well, I'd better go and catch up with the chores and then I want to email the bride's parents and thank them for making the wedding so memorable - they are lovely people and think the world of their new son-in-law. Everyone we have spoken to has remarked on what a great day it was so we are feeling on a real high after all the build-up. Next stop for us is DS1's birthday in September (same day as mine - my best ever birthday present!), DS2's in December then Christmas!
Anyway, I'm mioliering as usual so I will sign off and catch up with you all later.

Just had some very sad news from Anniestar - phoebe passed away last night and she is understandably devastated. I know many of you care for Anne so just wanted to ask for some virtual hugs - I dont know if she can get connected at the moment but I am sure she will appreciate your thoughts.
