18185 can be used on P O Homephone at the present time.

    Is this still the case?

Has caller display increased from £1.75 per monthy with the new increases that start on 1st June. The link to the price list on their website doesn't seem to be working.

    Thanks

Anyone know the number to make a complaint regarding Post office home phone? Disgraceful company!
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

I'm answering an old post I know but I have just spotted that Quidco does.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Can someone please confirm (December 2009) if 1899.com type services work with the PO and if not what are they doing for routing cheaper day time calls?

PO looks a good deal for a relative who likes the idea of paying at the "Post Office" but I don't see any daytime deals on their site.

    Thanks! :)

    It does at the moment.

As you have discovered they dont offer inclusive call bundles for peak daytime calls.

    Thanks for the confirmation :)
  • If they did decide to block indirect access codes , you could use 1899/18185 0808 freephone access numbers for cheaper peak geographical calls.;)
